Final installment of the outstanding Mass Effect series

Pros: - Great gameplay (improved combat controls, improved weapon inventory and modifications)
- Very engaging story
- Outstanding visual effects, music and voice acting
Cons: - Fewer characters in your squad
- Weak character interaction and development
- Ending is COMPLETELY NONSENSICAL and RUINS the entire franchise

Summary: Mass Effect 3 is the third installment of an incredible sci-fi role-playing adventure game, where players can make choices that impact the storyline throughout the entire series (there are reportedly over 1000 possible story "paths"). ME3 does not disappoint for 99% of the game -- the graphics, sound, voice acting, game play, and sheer scope are all absolutely stunning.
The problem is that, in the end, it's all for nothing. I will not spoil it for you, except to say that the choices and reputation a player spends more than a hundred hours developing over three games have no real impact on the ending. The final sequence not only create huge plot holes (actually contradicting several points already established in the game) but you only get the option of up to three basically identical endings regardless of your efforts.
In the end, all of your hard work amounts to nothing since a player who does nothing gets essentially the same ending as you.
The effect is much like watching the old show "Dallas" where, in the end, you find out that the entire show was just one long dream sequence. ME3 is a fun experience, but the end is so sloppy, nonsensical, and disappointing that it literally ruins the entire experience.

Rain death from a distance or go toe-to-toe with enemies using devastating melee attacks. Mass Effect 3 will react to each decision you make as you play through a truly unique experience of your own creation.
