Challenging and entertaining like no other!

Pros: Realistic battle sequences
Cons: Very in depth gameplay, choosing to be detail oriented will take a considerable amount of time to complete a game (this is a con??)

This is the best strategy game I've ever played.

Pros: Too many to list. This game will make your other strategy games seem like toys for kids.
Cons: You'd better have a decent computer for certain aspects of the game.

After a few hours of playing Total War, you won't be able to tolerate such foolishness. I bought Medieval & Viking Invasion over 6 months ago & am still playing the game... it's THAT good. Since then, some co-workers have also bought the game & we're all addicted.
The only downfall is mixed in with one of the games strongpoints. In certain instances, you could literally have 10,000 (yes, TEN THOUSAND) troops on the field at one time. If you have a crappy processor, little ram, or a bad graphics cards, you just have to give up.
My system: 1.7 Celeron, 256 9600 graphics card, 384 RAM. I can play all but the largest battles, so I let the computer automatically figure out who wins those battles.
