  DVD-RW warning!!!

  Pros: Great graphics, not-to-impossible puzzles, and superb 3D worlds. I really enjoy just looking at everything.

  Cons: I had one hell of a time getting the thing to install. I run XP home and I had to install SP2 AND update my firmware, videocard and soundcard drivers as well as re-install Norton Anitvirus just to get the game to install. DVD-RWs are not recommended (fo

  Won't install, and can't contact company

  Summary: I was really looking forward to this game--I even bought a DVD player for my computer in order to run it. I thought my system met all of the specs on the box. It turns out that it runs ONLY if you have a system with one of only TWO supported video cards.
  
  If you read between the lines on the FAQ at their web "support" site, it looks like others have the same problem.
  
  It may just be today, but repeated attempts to reach ubisoft to ask about my specific problem on their website were useless. I got an error message saying to check back later or contact them, but all of the contacts provided circle back to the same error spot. There seems to be no way to reach an actual tech.
  
  What a waste of money and time.
  
  BTW--it would be a real service if the cnet and gamespot reviewers would try running the games on moderately old computers so that they could warn the rest of us.
