Summary: Basically the allure of this game is it's a fantastic science fiction setting wargame that has distinct role playing aspects to it. The wargear you choose for your captain and the units that follow over into other conquests really give the game a fun twist, very similiar to the old Panzer General series. Each game you have to find the balance between exploring, building your base up, building your army up, gathering resources and power nodes and once the enemy is on the move of course comes the strategy of base defense and offence to win the game with.
Summary: Good addition the previous versions, but nothing screaming out "WHOA!". Single player is fun, but nothing greatly added to the online experience. Worth having if you liked DOW and DOW ...
