Think Halo for RTS
by netbje on January 16, 2011
Pros: Epic, emotional Story
Awesome gameplay
World extremely awesome (but see below)
Online gameplay fun, but if you have just completed the campaign, you won't do wellCons: Graphics to demanding
- However, you really aren't zooming in to see the detail and all a lot
- I have a really bad system that likes to get really hot, so this is coming from a lower end PC
- Still plays greatSummary: I would recommend this game to anyone. I really didn't want to deduct a half-star, but because of the graphics...

JUST AWESOME!!!
by mc_rog46_sd1 on April 10, 2009
Pros: Great graphics detail and gameplay, with an awesome storyline and videos
Cons: Had some crash issues at first with my Asus TOP 4850, but a recent driver update resolved this.

Summary: The game looks just awesome, from the explosion light flashes and smoke to the detailed characters and vehicles. The gameplay is sheer fun and has a learning curve, with the first levels being easier to allow you time to learn the controls. But it does not stay that way, the final level will overwhelm you and required several saves and repeated attempts to finish. I have a pretty descent system -- Phenom 2.6 oc to 3.0, Asus EAH 4850 TOP, 4 gigs RAM, XFI Titanium Pro, WD Velociraptor and XP Pro X64 -- and the in game benchmark on very high rated my sys at 40 fps avg. In short it takes a descent PC to run this game on very high.

Summary: This is definately in my top three games probably ranked at 2nd. The campaign and its plotline are simply amazing and are based in very real circumstances unlike some other World War III games that have absolutely stupid plots or you don't even discover the main plot until you've finished the entire game. I must admit the required and even recommended settings are heavily underated and you need a really really really good computer to play this game with full graphics speed. Even my Nvidia GeFoorce 8600 GT was struggling to keep up with the graphics in parts, cutscenes definately being the worst part of the game as the detailed graphics lag behind the sound. But otherwise I can safely say the graphics are amazing because of all the detail that is rendered and even the most experienced gamer will be amazed at the detail and scope of the graphics. Furthermore the gameplay is actually overly enjoyable and somewhat addictive. Missions are of an appropriate length and won't consume your entire night playing only a single mission. Despite how graphics intensive the game is the rest of the game far outweighs the rest and I feel it is perhaps one of the best games on the market. I would probably rank it No. 2 in my list of favourite games.

Excellent. Nice to get away from the typical Command & Conquer gameplay.

Summary: I loved this game! I got really tired of the typical Command and Conquer interface that you see in all the games like Total Annihilation and Warzone 2100, I definatly enjoyed the change of pace. The graphics were good and the storyline was excellent. A little weird being in present time and then backtracking but you got over it.
