Great Speaker !

Pros: * Great sound; very clear, articulate and musical
* Full-range, genuine 3-way speaker
* Front panel Bass and Treble controls
* Very good build quality --real wood speaker enclosure!
* Te speakers sheer coherence cannot be achieved with a separate sub-woof
Cons: * Don't play VERY loud
* No speaker grille/tweeter protector: speaker face is naked
* Big: 15"X6"X6" each speaker

Summary: Simply an excellent sounding speaker. You will get a taste of real Hi-Fi with the SP-HF1800A PC speaker. Somewhat directional sounding --ensure that the speakers are placed at/near ear-level that will be close on most desk-top PC stands. Perhaps tilting the speaker upwards a bit will help with ultimate clarity. I will try this soon to see if it further enhances this wonderful speaker. Make room and go buy them. Priced at/under $100/pr, nothing else comes close.
