  can't be beat for 20 bucks

  Pros: loud with surprisingly very good bass for such a small, cheap set of speakers. Once properly equalized, these things really crank out some great sound.

  Cons: no cover for speaker protection, could potentially get damaged. These are powered speakers,not USB, so there is an AC adapter to plug in. Left/Right speakers attached, so they can't be seperated by more than a few feet.

  Good Low Cost Speakers

  Pros: Sound is above average for this class of speakers, I listen to m usic all the time and it sounds good.

  Cons: If you have children on the computer, it is possible to easily damage them. My grand kids stuck a pencil through the exposed speaker diaphram.

  Pros: Cheap and decent for basic computer audio needs. Easy set up, sounds a little above average for its size.

  Cons: Does not have terrible / bass control.
  No speaker cover, therefore, if you have small children... they will mostly likely poke the speaker cone.

  Summary: I saw this product for $12. Which I would recommend to buy at that price.

  I would like to change my star rating to 1. They work but the power has drastically decreased. Turning the volume past 1/2 way, the speaker stops working.

  Terrible investment

  Pros: They're small and have a headphone jack.

  Cons: They broke after 4 months of having them, they had terrible distortion and no power whatsoever. I took really good care of them and mainly used them for video editing.
