Excellent for my non-professional needs
by awoefin on December 16, 2006
Pros: Amazing sound quality to my untrained ear
Cons: Uh..It makes my windows rattle. That could be a good thing though.

Summary: I'm only 15, and chances are that someone reading this will not take me seriously, but these are amazing speakers. I enjoy music so much more now with these. There is nothing better than turning on a good song, (it makes even rap sound good, which is hard to do) turning these up, and just listening. People say that the sub woofer is not adequate, but I entirely disagree. It kicks ass. I can't believe these are the LOW end of Logitech!

excellent for the price!!
by eopest on March 2, 2005
Pros: Overall sound is excellent. Not expensive. Look good w ith my black NEC LCD monitor. Doesn't overwhelm my studio apt.
Cons: Because of the mounting holes' awkward angle, you have to be creative about how you mount the rears on speaker stands. The sub could use a little more ooompf.
Summary: Great set for my studio (500 sq.ft.) I have neighbors, so playing Desert Combat with a 5500 or ProMedia set would be massive overkill (and eviction) and a waste. ...

Summary: I challenge you to find better for the money. It costs less than $70 for this set, and you deffinitely get more than you pay for. They're not the loudest speakers you'll ever own. They're not the best sound reproducing speakers you'll ever hear. And they're certainly not the most convenient speakers you'll ever set up in your life. But they just might be the most speaker you'll ever get for the money. I can't think of a single complaint about these speakers because I bought them knowing I was paying under $70 for a 5.1 surround setup. They're attractive, well built, and put out much better sound than can be expected for the price.

Affordable, good quality sound, but lacking in logical design
by Bryce1821 on September 29, 2005

Summary: The greatest disappointment I have had with these speakers is the cable length and the setu of the cables. The cables are not long enough to position the speakers at the corners of my dorm room, which isnt exactly a gigantic space. Additionally, the output wire from the computer goes into the right front speaker before being relayed back to the sub. This is terribly annoying since the length of the cable to and from the frong right speaker is no more than 6 feet. It is not possible to position this speaker in the front right corner of a room unless your computer and the sub are in the same position. It would have made much more sense to have the input go into the sub alone, instead of being routed through the front right speaker. Although the speakers were cheap to buy, I am going to spend almost as much buying SVGA and RCA cables so that I can actually position the speakers in the corners of my room. Otherwise, the product performs well for a set that only cost me $40. I wasnt stunned that I had come across a great product for a cheap price, but I wasnt really let down by the quality of the sound either.

Great for $60!
by RubX on April 1, 2005
Pros: Affordable, good bass, like the look, able to adjust the speakers. Enough wire for the rear speakers.
Cons: No remote, to much bass makes a little noise through the port hole. You need 3 jacks to be able to use all speakers, a 3-way split is needed to listen to your CD player or video games
Summary: Good for people that don't listen to there speakers loud all the time. They should mension about the 3 jacks that are needed, I hade to spend an extra $...
Summary: Good for people that don't listen to there speakers loud all the time. They should mension about the 3 jacks that are needed, I hade to spend an extra $8 for the 3-way adapter to listen to my cd player, PS2,and GameCube. It was worth it thoough.

These speakers are a solid 9/10!
Pros: PRICE: $80 (you can probably froogle it and get an even better price). COST/WHAT YOU GET RATIO: I upgraded from an OEM 2.1 system Altec Lansing and these speakers smoke the pants off of my previous set up. I know it isn't fair to compare 5.1 with 2.1, but
Cons: None that I can see so far. Don't forget-You NEED a 5.1 capable sound card or your other speakers won't work! Got it? So iggy those reviews from the nooblars.

YOU GO LOGITECH
Pros: attractive, Good Sound, room filling. For all you humbugs, you may need to use your soundblaster equalizer and filter to truly benefit from these beauties. I have a set of Bose speakers, and honestly...NOT a truly noticeable difference, especially for t
Cons: No Remote...but no biggie. Also, I wish cables were longer, BUT you can extend them...

quality/price is the highest
Pros: Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Homeworld 2 play perfectly at max sound, what more needs to be said?
Cons: I've knocked over my back speakers about fifty times, way too light, but hey, they can take the abuse at least.
