The good: The Nvidia 3D Vision Kit supports virtually all 3D games, is simple and easy to setup, and the 3D effect looks great when it works properly.
The bad: The Nvidia 3D Vision Kit is expensive for how gimmicky it is. Also, turning up the depth in some games lowers their playability and it's currently only supported by two LCD computer monitors and requires Windows Vista. Also, it causes eyestrain after prolonged use.
The bottom line: Though casual gamers will be satisfied by the Nvidia 3D Vision Kit's 3D gimmick, the unacceptable compromise to playability of some titles means hardcore gamers should steer clear.
Pros: Good 3D effect - causes some people to drop their jaw in awe, others to drool, and a few to wet themselves in glee!!!
Cons: 120 Hz monitor prices have to drop to near 75 Hz prices before this is anything more than a Rich Kid's toy...

The average gamer will not be hardware ready for this system for 12 or 18 months with their next system purchase. By then, the 120 Hz LCD and DLP displays will be much more mainstream in marketshare and pricing.
Expect Lan Parties photos to show tens, then hundreds of nVidia goggled hardcore gamers in tthe months to come!
IMHO, a very promising technology that will mature nicely into a popular mainstream product.

Oh, I forgot to mention this is similar LCD Shutter technology to the 3D IMAX movies many of us have already seen...
Pros: Like nothing i've ever seen or imagin possible before...
I was skeptic prior to purchase, afraid that the quality would be that of the 80's trial and fail 3d movie viewing era. Truly immerses me into a "world" of gamming i never thought possible.
Cons: Already alot of games are 3d vision capable therefor i couldnt really say that the product has restraints. However, in order to be capable of running this product a strong PC is needed. very strong..
Summary: Great product that is true to its advertisment!
Be careful not to get addicted as i'm starting to be.. :)

Pros: See your favorite games in 3D
Will be amazing, if they ever get up 77 FPS Per Eye
Cons: Limited to 60 FPS
Only usable for a short duration

Summary: The bottom line for this technology is EYESTRAIN. Those of us that still use CRT monitors for work will tell you that running at lower than 77 FPS will cause serious headaches. This is because the human eye refreshes at between 70-80 times per second. A paltry 60 frames per second (since the glasses alternatingly blackout left/right eyes) will still register on the retina as darkness. This pulsing will cause the same kind of headaches you get from trying to read below a back-lit ceiling fan.
In short, for prolonged play, this technology is not ready for prime time.
On a side note, why don't they just bring back high FPS CRT monitors just for 3D use? They are rediculously cheaper and produce much better images. Of course the glasses would have to be adjusted to higher FPS as well.
Pros: * Literally adds another dimension to your games making them more engrossing.
* Can also be used to view 3d videos and images. *No Hollywood movies are available yet, but it will support 3D Bluray
* Made PC gaming exciting again.
Cons: # Brightness is reduced when playing in 3D. # Not all games work

Summary: n short I love it. It really adds an extra level of immersion to the games I've played. Everything just looks solid and has real depth. Unfortunately it's something that you need to see for yourself. I've been told that it looks like the latest generation of 3D movies in theaters, but I haven't seen any of those so I can't confirm it. It definitely looks better than the anaglyph or the IZ3D stuff that I've seen. Batman AA in 3D is amazing.
