  The ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000 model is a high-end electric tooth-brush designed to encompass the style and function of Oral-Bs SmartSeries brushing products. The 5000 model takes a step up from the 4000 model improving on the features by offering more cleaning modes and options. The SmartSeries 5000 model features 5 separate brushing modes which include "Daily Clean", "Sensitive Clean", "Whitening", "Massage", and "Deep Clean". The 5000 model also comes bundled with a two minute total timer that operates in 30 second intervals and includes a quadrant guide to show which sides of the mouth need brushing. The SmartSeries 5000 includes several safety features to protect the users teeth as well as clean them; such as a unique pressure sensor which terminates the devices "pulsation" function when a user is pressing the brush too hard against their teeth. The Oral-B SmartSeries 5000 model also provides what Oral-B claims to be "40,000 pulsations ...
