  Best PS2 game I've ever played

  Pros: Amazing graphics, fun to play

  button mashing is a factor but game comes out decent.

  Pros: Blood. The blood and gore in this game are as realistic as ever!
  Music and sound. The music is just right for the game and you can hear it well.
  Kratos is as angry and we love it

  Cons: Some parts are freakishly hard.
  Button mashing isn't cool. When you are fighting the giant serpent to win, you have to push the button so fast it can injure your thumb

  to kill a god, wow!

  Pros: variety of challenges, bosses, music, storyline, did I mention the ghost of Sparta? This poor soul takes it out on the "minions" of Ares!!!! And the great thing about it, is U decide how to make the Kill!!!!

  Cons: sometimes the big "minions" block your views, the response time from button becomes slow as you progress and the character doesn't respond fast enough.

  Summary: Liked it? totally engrossed with it, forgot about everything else and just played this game non-stop...so I'm a late bloomer...2009? Man this game was realeased in '05; but I sure did enjoy it...played all levels ez-hero-spartan-god and the 10-challenges.
  didn't like that god challenge is 4-hits and your dead vs 30-hits on ez. just play ez to get the full enjoyment of pounding those "minions" that's what it's all about!

It has great weapons, enemies, lands, powers and sound effects. Once I started playing this game I could not put it down. I can't wait for the sequel!

  Summary: This game takes some of the best action of many different games {Metal Gear, Rygar, R.Evil, beat/timing games ect.} and puts them into one. The overall theme is Greek Mythology {and dark side of it}... You actually have to fight your way out of hell{Hades} at one point. This game is really not for kids and that is what makes it sooo good and can make it sooo bad. The visuals in this game are the best I have seen for any game on any system. The music is great and different for each level. I have recommended this game too ALL of my friends. As I was addicted to playing it... The unlock-ables are the best!! LOL The funny characters that didn't make the cut are hysterical! I paid $40- for it a little after it came out... I seen it recently as a "greatest hit" for $19.99!! Its worth every penny I paid {and some} and cant recommend it enough to anyone who likes action games at the current price. Bottom line: Get this game you will not regret it!
