Summary: In my opinion, this game outshines any vitual reality program so far, it's highly realistic, the dino's move realisticly, with unique calls etc. But it only lets u uncover 3 sites, and the dinosaurs u want arn't always there. There isn't enough species variation! there should have Diplodicus, Ornifalesties, the different species of the tyrannodae family.
Updated
If anyone reads this, i have a good idea for a no. 2 of his platformer. So read this Bob Colayco, i know this game is based on Jurassic park (obviously). So it only has the species that were in the movies. But we could expand from there. More impressive dinosaurs like diplodicus, muttaburrasaurus, iguanadon, sizemasaur etc. But as well as having more species variation, thay could introduce males to the game, thay could be larger and more aggresive posing a larger threat to visitors, and creating more of a challange to keep them from going on a rampage. You could introduce breeding to the system, trying to match solemates up in a dog eat dog world, seeing if the match is right, and if it's not you'll need the tranquillisers. Being able to maybe cross breed certain animals, watch and monitor the gestation period, monitoring eggs and keeping them outta the elements. Watching the babies grow up. Introduce sea creatures, in the game u are able to fence off bits of the reef surrounding the island. So why not put sea creatures in there? Have boating tours, under-water tunnels made of glass to observe the sea life. Have shelters for the dinosaurs from the elements, hurricanes etc. You could have frosts, where the dinosaurs are particully at risk. Have more food stands and attractions for the tourists. Have specific mating seasons for specific dinosaurs. Have day and night and have night tours with flashlights and stuff. Operation Genesis is a fantastic game but there is always room for improvement. don't u think?
