Summary: This game is a pretty good effort. Capcom has done a beautiful job with the graphics and game design. Though most of what the characters say is something to laugh about, like George's 'I just had a thought'. Or Will's 'what a wierd customer'. The game runs smoothly except for the horrible load times. I could have made a PB&J waiting for this bad boy to load. First of all lets start with the good stuff. There are cool areas to explore, like J's Bar and the University. There is also a healthy amount of puzzles and brain scatchers. You can also choose from a good variety of charaters like good ol' George to the overly optimisic Cindy. Each character has a different personality, which can be an up and a down. Some will leave your butt in an instant while others will be your trusty companion. Online mode is another plus, you get to experiance a survival horror with people around the country, cool. Before you set your foot out with the other people, you'd better get a little skill and or experiance. Because the online people aren't going to hold your hand through it, trust me. As for all the resident evil games the enviroment is breath taking. There is a lot of bouns features, when I say a lot I meant A LOT. Making replayabliy it's all time high, if you have the paitence to get all the secert items and stuff. The bosses are cool looking. However couldn't they have used a different approach for the boss in Below Freezing Point? I've seen that happen once already in Alien, don't want to see it again. The flaws: To begin with some of the voice over voices were good. But the way they said the stuff is dissappointing like all RE games, and yes I'm talking about RE4 too. I found myself laughing more than I did screaming! And what's up with the twins, triplets, quadruplets of zombies? I saw practicly a hord of one type of zombie, I named them, Billy, Bob, Bobby and Binky. The load times are HORRIBLE!!!! You can get something to aid that a little, but still. In offline mode your partners are really stupid and suicidal, and at times a bit too dramitic. There are some interesting things I hear behind me, you don't want to know what they are. They seem to like to crawl through each other, and yes they do, a lot. Several times I saw one of my 'friends' hands going through me. But your friends can be useful, they can be live bait. Once in a while they'll save your butt. Like when I was beating the final boss, I didn't do squat and good ol' David killed him off. The very, very last boss fight they were the distraction. Carring around computer allies is like taking care of kids :/. Overall this game is a lot of fun to play. It is also pretty unique. Serious RE fans might be slightly disappointed. Still it's worth the price at the end of the day.
