  Good game, even if you aren't the super comic book fan.

  Pros: It's an MMO!! Based on comic book characters but so what if you don't know them all. Unbelievable flexibility in the appearance of your hero or villain. PvP and PvE updates every month. Game is new so it can only get better.

  Cons: Still buggy. Loss of sound in places. Menus are slow to appear when you summon them. Some doors resetting in playfields and locking out members. Not much GM support or contact in PS3 version. Rated T for Teen, not too gritty.

  Summary: Good fast twitch PvE and PvP. The game has fixed many problems with the MMO's before it, such as the ability to share a kill and get xp (no more ppl ganking your mobs, you both (or 3 or 4 of you) get credit as long as you damaged the enemy) and a lot of different grouping sizes. The game looks fantastic in hi def.

  Not Advertised well Expensive game and Subscription fee

  Pros: Looks like a great game with loads of customization but never got to play it.

  Cons: 100% Subscription Fee game. Purchased from Amazon and not at all spelled out this was a fee based game. Based on a lot of feedback Sony is starting to listen by reducing fees etc...

  Summary: Having a subscription associated with this game that is not accurately spelled out by either Amazon or Sony is very important for consumers to have pointed out. The top section of the product nor the title say anything about subscriptions. If you review the shorter sections under Product Features and Product Details of this game, you won't find it there either. You only find it buried in the lengthier (472 word) sections under a second Product Description on Amazon.

  DCOU is amazing!!!!

  Pros: Amazing graphics and cities to explore, character generation is clean and easy to use, fighting styles are cool to watch and use.

  Cons: When the server shuts down giving you a 25 minute window and the chat room.

  Summary: Extremely fun to play especially if you are a fan of comic books and super heros! The fact that won against a level 10 when I was a level 5 its not all about levels and armor you can use technique. Only go PVP you will level up contrary to other belief that PVE is easier but PVE makes you lazy for when you get into PVP. Love the game entirely!! 15/month is cheaper that going to the movies and cable bill. It is worth it for the sheer entertainment.

  Slick, fun and immersive.

  Pros: Everything is just FUN. Sure there are some grind quests, but those are standard fare, and don't detract from the overall experience.
  
  Plus, you get to fight alongside childhood heroes. How awesome is that? (Very!)

  Cons: Chat issues can cause headaches; some glitches now and then. I haven't experienced too many, personally, outside the chat issues.

  Summary: Bottom-line: A great game for any DC fan, or comic-book fans in general. Being a part of the DC Universe is just awesome.
