Cons: -Characters Unoriginal [They all base off of a previous Final Fantasy..not to mention the terrible names] -Gameplay -Story -Repetitive Enemies with different names -Side Quest -EXTREMELY linear maps

Summary: Gameplay: One short way of just putting the gameplay: no interaction with the player. Unlike the previous Final Fantasy, you were able to use which magic you wanted, what type of attack you wanted. However, in this game, that's taken away from you making it feel less of an RPG. All you simply do is press x, and the system configures which attack is best [with or without scan/libra] used in the situation. After you hit that auto battle button, it sets up the attacks for you. The only "actual' interaction you make is probably to revive your character using a technique [which differs from the magic] or when you switch paradigms [the class that they choose for this game]. After that, just use the x again.
Linear Maps: Need I say more. The maps are literally about as straight as a line with maybe one or two curves to throw you off. Must have fell asleep one or two times getting through the maps.
Story: The story reminded me of a mixture between Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 10. It seemed unoriginal to me; along with the characters. Each of the characters reminded me of past final fantasy characters and you don't even really learn the full story until your about 11 out of 13 chapters in the game. It moved along really fast, not leaving you in awe-inspired moods like previous ones may have.
Graphics I'm not surprised that the graphics for this game were phenomenal; it was probably a decoy to make up for the terrible gameplay
The Enemy Intel: Where to begin. The monsters are repeated throughout the game, with different name, size, and colors but the same shape. The enemies are another of the boring aspects of this game. The only thing that they increase is the difficulty; more HP on the monster, faster and stronger attacks.
Opinion: I'm not in love with this game, but I can say that as soon as I finish with the remaining trophies, this game is never going back in the PS3. It's not a game that I would replay again. If you like the repetitive gameplay of pressing one or two buttons the entire game, go for it.
