  Summary: Overall this is the most realistic and fun basketball game i've ever played. If you have HD tv, then this game looks phenomenal. Each player shoots almost exactly like they do in real life, which for me adds to the realism and fun factor of the game as it looks just like you're watching the player play on television. Can be very tricky adjusting because of this as each player has a different release point on their shot and causes you to miss a few until you figure it out, especially when shooting free throws. I suggest getting a team down and playing with them a few times to familiarize yourself with what each player does and how they shoot. A few things that can irritate about this game is the fact that players turn the ball over quite often as you can't just throw the ball around, but that's not a bad thing necessarily. There is also a lot of foul calling, but can be adjusted in the gameplay settings. Players get called for over the back when the computer is controlling them and sometimes you see blocking calls or charging calls that are very questionable, i once got a blocking call called when i was behind a guy. The controls are quite different for me as i've always been a loyal EA guy and played nba live and these controls are totally different under 2k style gameplay. If you've been a 2k person, then it'll be no problem i'm sure and you'll start dominating out the gate. All in all this game is very fun, great looking and extremely realistic. With a few days or so of adjusting to the game, you'll be swishing 3's, dunking on people and making guys fall all over the court (yes you can cross guys up in the game and make them fall). It's a must have for basketball fans

  Summary: this game is great. no dout that this is the best bball game i have ever played. the association mode is great. watch ur players race for season awards. scout the draft class. 24/7 NEXT mode is awesome to make urself a legend. great graphics. free throws are cool once u get a hang of it (using the SIXAXIS to shoot by using the controller like a ball) very realistic. everyone shoots just like they do in real life. they do their free throw routines too. shooting with the shot stick is amazing. online is the best and i find it to be very fleuent. i havent got disconnected once and it is very fun. if u want a bball game i definatly reccomend that u get this one

  Summary: I really didn't want to get this game but the options are limited for playstation 3 right now. Well after a couple of games to get used to the controler differences from the NBA Live series, I have come to love this version even better. Yeah, it has some flaws, but it is 10times more realistic in gameplay and it grows on you. It is more of a REAL gameplay experince. I do not recommend using the "tilt" feature for free throws, although I did not give it much of a chance. I LOVE the graphics when shooting free throws ecspecially. The sweat, tatoos, and bodies look REAL. The faces still need work but hey it is a viceo game. Trust me if you like the basketball games for the actual game, you will love this. It also has a gamemode that is a sort of work your way up from the street courts to the NBA. I haven't gotten into it because I am still playing my franchise mode.

  Summary: The detail in this game is amazing. The detail in the graphics are awesome, you can see them sweating and see muscles moving. The freethrow shooting is interesting. You have to flip the control and use it like a WII remote. I still haven't been able to get a multiple player online game yet.
