  Summary: This game failed to improve, in fact the game regressed from it's 2007 version. The camera angles were terrible. Getting steals is nearly impossible. I don't know how you can go from having one of the best games in 2007 to one of the worst for 2008. This was my most disappointing purchases of any game I ever bought. Hopefully 2009 will be better. I will rent before I purchase this time.

  Summary: After downloading the demos for nba 08, nba live 08, and nba 2K8, I found the only real choices were live 08 and 2K8. While nba 08 looks awesome in 1080p the game play simply doesnt compare. After all the comparing I decided on live 08, the game play is simple yet competitive, the graphics are sweet, most player renditions are right on. About the only complaints I have about this game is that the frame rate seems to slow down right after a made basket then speeds back up, also from time to time the player names disappear from underneath the player making it hard to tell who you are controlling. The last complaint is that annoying pop-up that you get sometimes explaining how to shoot freethrows I couldnt figure out how to get rid of it. Overall I would recommend this game its a hell of a lot of fun if you dont mind some twerks.
