  Better for online, Worse for single player.

  Pros: Little to no lag during online play, unlike Soul Calibur 4
  Still wide array of creatures
  Easy use of Edge Attacks compared to previous Soul Calibur versions
  Gameplay faster, but kept with traditional Soul Calibur

  Cons: Some major changes in movesets than previous Soul Calibur versions
  Little to no story mode (only 1 character with many gaps in character storylines)
  Creation mode less items available than previous Soul Calibur versions (must purchase)
