  A very fun tactical shooter with tons of replay value

  Pros: There is a lot to unlock, rewards, weapons, armor, clothing. Customizable character: skin tone, male or female, clothing, armour, and weapons+attachments. Tons of replay value. Very deep experience points system. Addicting online play+online coop

  Cons: Quite a few bugs but nothing that interferes with the gameplay at all. No trophy support. Though rare enemies will sometimes spawn right in front of you just because you weren't where the game thought you would be. Also some texture pop in.

  Summary: This game is a very fun tactical shooter. If you didn't play the first, like me, chances are you will still pick up the story fairly easily. It isn't anything very special but it gets the job done. Pretty much terrorists are terrorizing Las Vegas and you need to stop them, there are a couple plot twists you probably won't see coming but other than that the story is ok and so is the voice acting. One of the best things about this game is that you can earn experience points while playing any mode which lead to unlocks. Another cool thing is that there are three categories you can earn points in depending on the kind of kill you get(ex. killing an enemy that's right in front of you will get you points for the CQC category while killing an enemy off in the distance will give you points in the Marksmen category). These will allow you to unlock weapons, armour, and various clothing to customize your character with. There is an excellent cover system in which the view goes from first person to third person when you take cover. Popping in and out to take shots at enemies from behind cover feels completely natural and you can also blindfire. You can play splitscreen and onlne coop in both story mode and terrorist hunt, a mode which puts you in a stage, some taken straight from story mode, and has attempt to eliminate all the enemies. Online versus modes are very addicting and are probably the best part of the game. Matches are very easy to get in and there usually isn't any lag to worry about. Things only get better when you are with a group of people who are all communicating with headsets. Graphics online and offline are pretty good, nothing Call of duty 4 but they have a very clean look to them and environments and character models are very detailed. Gun models also look good and are very detailed. All character and enemy animations also look good. One thing about RSV2 that makes it different from other shooters is the tactical nature of the game. Environment are much less straight forward and some levels especially are very open with many entry ways allowing you decide how best to proceed through. You can also give commands to your AI teamates who will actually follow them at least 75% of the time, when they don't though it isn't much of a problem, as after a couple of tries they usually listen to you. Not once did I ever die because of my teamates not following and order. They aren't the smartest ,occasionally running out into the open and getting killed, but they are very good shots and use cover intelligently. Your enemies, however sometimes seem smarter than they should and are also very good shots. Sometimes though they act downright stupid especially the times when one of their friends dies right in front of them and they run to the very same spot where there friend just got shot. Sometimes though if you are sneaky enough you can listen in on many of their sometimes random conversations. Also there are times when enemy dialog during fights are hilarious while some are just outright dumb. Most of the time thoguh AI is pretty good which adds to the tactical feeling of the game. Despite a few bugs and some texture pop in and occasional faulty AI, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a very fun game with plenty of things to do to keep you playing for a long time to come.

  terrible really

  Pros: still has the best peek and cover system out there, pity call of duty four didnt have it

  Summary: the flaws ive seen heard in only about two hrs, hammer drill like sound in villa section. a rescue section of a womans family, guys get stuck in water and cant take orders until you walk them out more or less. killhouse, you can just stand near a ladder in middle section and they just keep coming down, about 15 i shot. the villa section hardly even have to go in. think its kings casino, if playing with a buddy, i open door look right to start, he runs in to left and guards pop up infront of my eyes. who the hell tested this game? i'd love to be a games tester, guys ubi have are crap, oh and has frozen a couple of times to, and ive only just started the game, but wont be finishing as to flawed. didnt they see these flaws??? how strange. ubi will go the same way as sci if not careful, they produced aload of rubbish to, the conflict was a fine series, then got some brain box into destroy it. sorry to say call of duty 4 is out there on its own, 8 out of 10. only has two problems, they need to use the peek and cover system of vegas, and the online scoring is crap. you see you can run round like a headless chicken killing loads, but dying loads and end up with a great score, hello! they died!
  should adjust the scoring, which they could do, and change the level up system. you see level one should be say kill 5 to 1 ratio. level two should be 6 to 1 ratio then say upto about a 10 to 1 ratio for level 10 and above. bonus level for head shots maybe then if say die more than 3 times in a match, should knock you down one level. this way players would play, rather than just hope they lucky. you see the more you play the more points you score, but this doesnt mean in real terms that you are a good player!!! it just means you play alot. so come on infinity, sort the scoring and level up system out, and include leveling down. then we can all play over again.
