The best RADIO TiVo device out there!!!
by sailor7x on October 7, 2009
Pros: Radio TiVo with great portability. This is the best Sirius option for Howard Stern Fans - because you can record the show and then listen to the whole program and FF through commercials!!!
Cons: Reception with the unit itself is not acceptable at all. You must buy the Home Kit and use it to record programming overnight. (See bottom line summary) For live news and sports broadcasts this unit is not going to be very practical.

Summary: I followed the recomendations of some other reviewers and bought both the Stilleto and the Home Kit which comes with an Antenna and charging dock. This allows me to record shows all night while the Stilleto is hooked up to good antenna getting good reception and then listen to the playbacks on the stilleto during the day without regard to reception. Recording 5 different music stations and some talk shows overnight with the TiVo like recording options gives me great stuff to listen to all day. If I don't like a song I can fast forward. If I love a song I can rewind and listen to it again. Somebody complained you can't store individual songs from recorded radio shows. I don't imagine this would be fair to artists. If you like the song just buy it! If you are looking to "stick it to the Man" fast forward through the commercials on the Stern show like I do.
Battery life seems excellent. Functions have been easy for me to figure out. Sound quality is very good when using the home antenna or listening to the recorded stuff. -
A must have item for on-the-go-sirius lovers! =)
by sampson09 on September 3, 2009
Pros: Works great when you have a clear view of the sky. Its small, and compact. Sleep design, easy to use and everything is laid out nice once you have the radio up and running. Once you have a signal, it seems to be crystal clear.
Cons: cant find any yet!

Summary: After reading all of the reviews for this radio, I decided to purchase this item. As I was waiting for it to arrive in the mail, I kept reading and was worried it wouldn't work for me at all. Finally it arrived in the mail, and I was quite pleased. Obviously, like the normal satellite radios, you need a clear view of the sky..(logic right). I can pick up a signal in the house here by a window, I only get one bar, but its crystal clear, so I am happy. I have been recording music daily and building up my library! I love music, and it seems like this is the perfect thing for me. I would recommend this item to anyone who was interested in getting a new MP3/Sirius radio.

Better than an IPOD
by sunvalley2006 on November 23, 2008
Pros: accessibility to satellite radio anytime, anyplace. football game, CNN news, great music. AND you can record satellite music, or just specific songs with the love button. In the house, it hooks up to my wifii! I have a doc sta in my office..
Cons: None, and I have had it for 4 months now. Goes everywhere with me. Can even rip CD's for your own library
Summary: Seriously look at this before you buy anyother MP3. The flexibility is so awesome. I have been a sirius subscriber for 5 years and they are the best, and now ...

Problems and NO Support
by hank5720 on October 28, 2008
Pros: The WiFi feature is a nice feature, when it works.
Cons: Numerous problems but matters worst by lack of any support from Sirius. Customer-care's only responses; sorry for the inconveniences or we apologize for your problems. 4 emails and 2 phone calls - I given up and will bury the Stiletto 2.

Stiletto 2
by Alyssa0411 on September 11, 2008
Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: NO reception
Summary: What a POS. I get no reception, I have to stand outside just to get 1 bar that cuts in and out. It's going back to Sirius.

Great size, huge improvement from SL 100
by lance61650 on August 17, 2008
Pros: Sleek look. The Stiletto 2 actually feels like an MP3 player now and not a remote control (SL 100). The addition of expandable flash memory is worth the upgrade from the SL100 to the Stiletto 2.
Cons: Short on features. Does not display album art for your MP3's, The FM modulator should offer RDS for displaying song information on new car stereos. Not sure why they don't include these features.
Summary: Overall a great product. I upgraded from the SL10 to the SL100 and now the Stiletto 2. Leaving family and friends with great radios in my wake. I am extremely ...
Summary: Overall a great product. I upgraded from the SL10 to the SL100 and now the Stiletto 2. Leaving family and friends with great radios in my wake. I am extremely pleased and it looks like Sirius has dialed in all of the features the other radios should have had in the beginning. The Stiletto 2 should last me a while without the need for upgrading. I was not very happy when I discoverd that my SL100 Car Dock does not work with the Stiletto 2 without some modification. The plug is the same, they just engineered the slots on the side of the radio not to fit in the old docking station. They are trying to sell me a new dock when the old one will work just fine if the radio was shaped to fit the dock. With a Dremel tool, I was able to modify my home dock to accept both my SL100 (now in the care of my wife) and my Stiletto 2 just fine. The car dock is a different story. The Stiletto 2 will fit after shaving down the guides in the dock, but does not sit as snug as I feel comfortable driving around with so looks like I am out another $50 for a car dock. In spite of that, I am extremly happy with my new radio. Great radio, great MP3 player. If you are getting into the satelite radio world, this is the only radio I would suggest.

iPod Killer
by SkydiverFL on January 2, 2008
Pros: Records 100 hours of CD-quality music with access to tracks just like an iPod!
Cons: Can only record from satellite (not from WiFi)
Summary: With over 10,000 legit tracks in my iTunes library (and a heavy iTunes tab) it's obvious I love my iPod. I've also been on XM for YEARS ...
Summary: With over 10,000 legit tracks in my iTunes library (and a heavy iTunes tab) it's obvious I love my iPod. I've also been on XM for YEARS now. However, since picking up a Stiletto 2, I haven't touched either. I can record almost 100 hours of CD-quality music (either one song at a time or in blocks of time) AND I can then shuffle or select songs JUST LIKE AN IPOD! Oh, and with built-in WiFi, I don't ever have to worry about having a strong signal indoors. Virtually perfect device!

not as impressive as some XM units
by rlwhite68 on March 11, 2008
Pros: Lots! Of cool bells and whistles

Summary: this thing is suppose to be portable satalite radio iI can't use it just walking around with it in my pocket. I can't use in my home while working. I work in a manufacturing plant
I get nothing. And my co-woekers who use XM get receptiom just fine. in my car the kids can't use it in all without an antena situations I've mentioned the unit says AQUIRING SIGNAL all the extra bells and whistles are cool but this thing is a radio first and it falls way short. Do your homework folks Nuff Said!0 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.
