The bad: Only works with compatible Sony audio products; needs separate video input in order to view display, video and photos; video and photo viewing can't be controlled remotely; expensive for what it is.

Summary: Once again, Sony has created some proprietary B.S and failed to make it compatible with prevailing popular technology--still stuck on the stupid idea they can convince people to adopt platforms that have limited complementary products because Sony doesn't like to license or share. With the Apple phasing out it hard drive iPod in favor of the flash drive Touch and new Nano, you might as well just toss the TDM-IP1 that comes with your system in the trash or face having a useless dust collector sitting on top of your system.
When will Sony realize that they should focus on winning market share by creating well-designed products, and give up the pipe dream of dominating the electronics market by controlling everything.
