  SDP93S - very good portable DVD player

  Pros: It has a sleek black and white design. Love how the screen flips like a tablet PC. Clear picture, dual earphone plugs and an SD slot for mp3's or pictures. Battery life is very good 4hour playback and of course it can play Divx/Xvid formats.

  Cons: Disappointed that this unit was made in 2009 and it's not SDHC compliant. A 2GB SD can barely hold 3 full divX movies.

  Summary: Almost a 5 star if not for the missing SDHC compatibility. Some reviewers will argue otherwise but the manual clearly states that it's only SD compatible. I plugged in my 4GB, 8GB, & 16GB SDHC but no luck it won't read the card. As far as complaints about the controls not being next to the disc compartment, well that is because the screen flips so it's more practical to place it where it is now - on the screen and about the missing forward/reverse buttons, just press and hold the skip buttons on the screen for more than a second to access the forward/reverse function.

  It is SDHC

  Pros: It has an SDHC I just used a 16 GB in mine. stop the bogus comments

  Cons: No USB is a small loss.

  incredibly poor design with high failure rate

  Pros: I can play DivX format

  Cons: Failed to read discs after 7 months. Onboard controls on screen not next to disc compartment. You can't push the buttons with one hand. No fast forward/reverse onboard you must use remote

  SD, not SDHC slot

  Pros: Smooth lines, good feel, nice setup.

  Cons: I bought it for the SD slot so I could quickly show pictures from my camera. It is NOT compatible with SDHC, so I returned it.

  Summary: Who carries a 2 GB or smaller SD card these days? How hard would it have been to add SDHC? That would have made this wonderful.
