The good: The Altec Lansing InMotion Compact speakers offer a low-key, travel-friendly design with a nifty integrated cover that doubles as a kickstand. The integrated iPod dock charges the player and there's an aux-in port for connecting other audio sources. Audio quality is good and the speaker includes a battery power option.
The bad: The Altec Lansing InMotion Compact doesn't come with any sort of remote or extra features such as a radio or a clock display.
The bottom line: If you're looking for a straight-forward portable speaker with a useful, understated design and solid sound, the Altec Lansing InMotion is a good choice.

A great little unit for travelling.

Pros: Size is perfect for packing into a travel bag for weekends away. Sound is very good for the size of the unit. AC & DC power an advantage.
Cons: Agree with others that the flap that packs the unit away is not the best after a few uses. It's bent completely one way to set up then back the other to pack. Maybe some sort of clip would work better? Slightly unsteady when setup but hey, it's meant to b

Summary: I also own a Bose Portable Dock which has awesome sound for the size but it's just a bit bulky to be hauling around when you've packed light for a couple of days away. The Altec iMT320 is just the right size. Compared it to at least 8 other similar-sized units when buying and it definately has better sound (even better when you place it in a corner).

Summary: I was able to pick up my Altec speakers at Costco for $39.99. I keep them on my desk at work and am glad I can grab them to go whenever I want. Great purchase for the money. As with many portable speakers, volume range is limited but sound is good until you reach max volume. Then there's a slight background buzz. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Cons: Cover difficult to close and when used as a stand it is difficult sometimes in keeping it upright if bumped; not very sturdy cover.
Summary: Excellent value. Being used constantly by a teen to listen from, charge iTouch, take to parties.

Cons: No remote, not a big deal but would have been nice.

Pros: Nothing!!!
Cons: Evertyhing !!!! This product never worked correctly out of the box, it will play for about 3 min then all lights will flash and a static sound will come from the speakers. Consider this your warnning don't buy their products.
