  great go anywhere sound for your iphone, ipod or laptop

  Pros: sound great, great small form factor, can take anywhere with battery power, nice remote control.

  Summary: amazing little speaker system for your iphone/ipod, mp3 player or even your laptop. i usually have it plug in and use it as a dock and speaker system for my office but this little speaker is also great for traveling. I took it to bbq and the beaches via battery power its quite handy. I love the sound quality not too bassy but crisp and clear. All around a great little portable sound device!

  Has more sound than you would expect for its size

  Pros: Very loud and clear. Attractive design. Very compact will fit anywhere. Charges Ipod Touch Very quickly.

  Cons: Can sometimes get tinny at high volume, not always but on some songs. mostly those with base. For its size not sure how you could get more base though.

  Summary: Glad i got it. For the price and what I needed it for its perfect. I would guess that for the price you could get a bigger dock that would offer a warmer sound at higher volumes, but they would not offer the same portability. It all depends on your need.

  Unbelievable sound from this mighty mite!

  Pros: Easy to use, compatible with my Zen, came with an AUX connector for it too! The sound is truly unbelievable from this little marvel! Fits in my backpack side pocket, plays loud enough to bother others with clarity. Even has a remote control!

  Cons: None by my account!

  Most overpriced item I've bought in years, low quality.

  Pros: -It looks like it does as advertised.
  -Looks like it would work at a level similar to that price.

  Cons: -Terrible sound.
  -High price.
  -Low quality buttons, switches.
  -Low quality materials.
  -Large gaping seams between product parts, looks shabby essentially.

  Summary: The sound quality is terrible, lacking in the mids and the lows are absolutely non-existant. I get it, this is a small speaker device, however, that is no excuse. There are similarly priced docks that are creating lows enough to like what you're hearing. It's sound is similar to a large set of headphones that are laying on the counter with music played through them, not like a dedicate dock should sound. Especially since they were $60. I bought an Altec Lansing dock in 2004 for $75. I still have it, it's beat up, ugly and looks like it's 6 years old but it sounds 3 times as good as this Skullcandy product. I bought this Pipe to replace that Altec product because it looked good. That's all it does is look good. I'm embarrassed that I paid this much money for such a terrible product. The 5 positive reviews on here have got to be skewed, inserted reviews. There is absolutely no way those reviews are legit customer submissions. Buyer beware.
