Battery Backup UPS doesn't do squat

Pros: Pros? Well...the neutral colors don't clash wildly with my household decor.
Cons: The power went off and so did this device. It provided no battery backup, though it does beep very loudly and repeatedly in order to notify you that it did nothing to help you.
Summary: Maybe the surge protection works, but the battery backup sure didn't.
