awesome processor for its price
by alex_lp1996 on September 10, 2010
Pros: good gaming performance
silent
handles everyday tasks without any problems
a lot of programs are optimized for Intel processors
Cons: struggles with multitasking
the last lga 775 processors came out in mid 2009 and offer horrible performance for their price
Summary: a great processor for someone who wants good performance for little money and does not mind sacrificing upgradeability

Great Dual Core
by aPanzerIV on August 27, 2010
Pros: Almost 3Ghz, Easily overclockable, Very good deal, find one for $80 or so on ebay, 775 mobos are cheap these days, you can use it with DDR3 1600. Overclocking isn't a chalange, unlike the Pentium D 820 it replaced.
Cons: LGA 775 is outdated, but still a good choice for $300 - $600 builds. Had to take out half a star because even for an outdated socket, $80 is $80.
