Summary: This is a great game. If you liked tetris, then you will love lumines. This game is highly addictive. The great thing is that there are so many different types of game play, and as the game goes on it doesn't just get faster. This is a great game, and if you have a PSP then you need to get this game.

Summary: Of all the original PSP games, this is the only one that doesn't suck. I figured if I ripped Metal Gear and Untold Legends, I had to at least tell people how much this game is worth it's price. It very fun, cool graphics, and good at what it is - a puzzle game. You won't get ripped if you buy it. Good game.

The game known as Digital Crack or Tetris on Crack

Summary: Probably my favorite game out of the 11 games i own. Keeps you playing and hooked albeit for hours at a time. Very good game for multiplayer battles for extended periods of time. I would call it the new age tetris, with hip music and effervescent colors that could send your grandma into seizures. A must own for PSP and Puzzle fans. My only complaint is the lack of modes in the game. Still, an early contender for G.O.T.Y. If i had 'em, 3 thumbs up from Jeff!

cool puzzle game with awsome graphics

Pros: crystal clear graphics, sound is good, not too easy, variation in the levels

Summary: when i first bought the game and played for about an hour i said, "i paid $30 bucks for this?" it looked good, sounded good, it was just a little hard to really get the ball rolling. i wasnt getting up though the levels. i kept at it and to my surprise, i got better. the levels and moves came quicker. i got more screen clearing combos, the levels got more amazing. not only did the color and pictures in the background change but the whole thing just switches. somthimes so much so that to really see what i needed to do next, i had to blink. it was amazing. the other vs mode is also original. the game starts with the screen divided and then as you play it move to one side or the other depending on how you play. if you are winning, then you get more room and the other gets less. eventually, one person reaches the top of the screen and the level is over and if you won then you face another person. i remember saying, "why cant this be more like tetris." if you are open to new things then this is the game for you, but if you like the old fasion style, then maybe the learning curve is to great. all in all this is an execelent game with amazing visuals and stunning gameplay.

Very fun game and an addictive puzzler

Summary: I have the Japanese version of Lumines and therefore can't read the manual. It makes no difference as the game picks up straight away and is so easy to play. I thought that it was the flash graphics and sound that had hooked me but after hours of play i still find myself picking up my PSP and losing another half hour to this addictive game. I reckon it's probably the best game at launch for the PSP and definitely worth checking out if you like tetris-block style games.

Summary: I really like Lumines, and just incase any of you were slightly confused its pronounced "loo-meens". There are tons of great skins to play, and you earn them by getting far in the game's challenge mode.
This isn't exactly pushing the PSP's power though, so this game might not be good for a first impression, but for a second game, this is the one to get. No kidding. -

Summary: This is the second game I got for my psp because my friend was raving about it. Well I quickly understood his love of the game and I have become addicted to playing multiplayer with him. This game was made by the creators of Rez for dreamcast which I'm a huge fan of. The only real downside to this game is that it gets tiring after a couple of hours (but then again the PSP's battery life only lasts so long
). Also $39 is a little steep on top of the $240 psp price tag, I'd rather see it retailing for $29 ( If you're looking to get a PSP for ~$30 check out www.freeconga.net ). Perhaps we'll see a price drop in launch titles after a month or so. Regardless, If you just got a PSP and are looking for something fun and enjoyable to play, I'd highly reccomend picking this title up. -

Summary: You play along with the music so it's kind of like you're a dj. It's addicting and just overall really really really fun!!!! I didn't think I'd like it at first because Tetris is the ultimate game, but this is just as good, maybe even better since it's more modern!
