Summary: Pursuit Force is an amazing game. As soon as you boot it up, your right in the middle of a summer blockbuster possibly directed by Micheal Bay. As you probably know, the main innovation in this game is highjacking cars. It involves getting closer to your enemy, jumping on his car, then shooting everone inside. However, the baddies won't get shoot lying down. They shoot back at you with machine guns, shotguns, and even nail guns. Once you take them out, you get their weapon. This is the game's first flaw. If you take out an enemy car with a nail gun in it, you
have no choice but to take the nail gun. A weapon select feature would have been nice. However, all the weaponary is pretty powerful and fun to shoot with. The missions have a good amount of variety. The only problem is that they are really hard! You are usually within a strict time limit. Most missions later on in the game involve multiple segemtns. This would be just fine if not for the fact the you can't start from the beginning of a segment when you lose. I've often spent around 10 minutes on a mission, only to have all that time be a waste because I was a couple seconds over time. However, all of this is said to be fixed for the American version. However, if you are an englishman/importer like me, don't be put off by the difficulty. You get a real fealing of success when you finish a mission, and the difficulty makes the game last longer. It is still an extremely fun game which every PSP owner should have. The only other problems are the on foot sections, which, while fun, don't have the best controls and seem out of place, and the lack of a multiplayer mode. There isn't even a race option. However, don't let this deter you. This is a great game. If you are a fan of driving, shooting, or high powered explosions, make this game a part of your library
