Summary: This is an amazing racing game! There is an actual goal to shoot towards in this game. There are so many features that I will just throw you the URL to the site and have you read them...

-(go to the "features" tab when you get there)
Anyways, if you go to that site, you will notice there is a "Downloads" tab, obviously, this is where you download all the expansions and such. The only downside is that you have to pay for the downloads. Therefore if you select one of the game content, it will direct you to the Playstation store. Of course you can also buy the game content on the psp, but the keyboard on the psp is annoying... If when you select one of the game content, and nothing happens, check your pop-up blocker, I had that issue and it took me a while to figure out why nothing was popping up.
Anyways, the tracks in this game are beautiful, full 480p (the standard picture quality you will get on a TV). I costumized my own skin for my favorite team, Qirex. Its this cool army looking skin, fits the vehicle really nicely. It came out so good that I decided to publish it, I don't know what that does, I assume that it allows other players to download if they like it. The actual game comes with 24 tracks, which is 12 more than the amount in WipEout Pure -I think. That is why I am ok with the downloads having a cost to it, because the actual game came with plenty of tracks.
Music is good, you can add up to 30 of your own tracks, whether its rap, rock, classical, or the standard techno that fits in with this genre of racing, all work perfectly well.
There is a "mysterious" picture mode, actually I knew about before I bought the game, but it may seem that way to you, let me explain it. The picture mode is a cool tool (haha, it rhymes), this allows you to take a picture of your vehicle/surroundings during any race. All you got to do is tap "start" on the psp, go right on down to picture mode. So now you can take a picture while the game is PAUSED. I've had some fun with that, I have one of the pictures as my current background on my psp. So thats the cool picture mode.
Full infrastructure mode means that you can't only play *1-8* *(Cnet said 1-4)* players from the PSPs around you (AD-HOC), but you can also use a wireless router's signal to play people from around the world. That's also a fun feature.
There is also an actual "Race Campaign" in this game, which is just an individual campaign. WipEout Pure was missing that campaign concept.
Anyways, that just about wraps up "WipEout Pulse". I highly recommend this sort of game to those of you who especially love racing games, and also to those of you who don't. I tend to like shooters better, but this game is one of the games that popped to the top of my favorite games charts. At the cost of $25-30, it is definitely worth it! I would recommend getting WipEout Pulse over WipEout Pure, do not get the two mixed up! I'll repeat myself, get WipEout PULSE, not PURE.
Man, I can't wait til' WipEout HD comes out for PS3!
