The good: For a compact, portable Bluetooth speaker, the Geneva Sound System Model XS sounds very good and plays loud. It has a user-replaceable, built-in, rechargeable battery; folds up into its own case; and has a built-in FM radio and alarm clock features.
The bad: The Model XS is fairly pricey, has no speakerphone capabilities, and charges via a separate AC adapter, not USB.
The bottom line: While it's not cheap, the Geneva Sound System Model XS has a great design and is one of the better ultracompact Bluetooth speakers on the market, outperforming the Jawbone Jambox.

My wife wanted the jambox with an FM radio.

Pros: The sound was really good. The fold down design was really good. The Bluetooth worked pretty well but if you are switching between many bluetooth devices it takes a few minutes to figue out which device you want. Overall a really good product.
Cons: The hinges broke on day one. My daughter bumped it. It fell about a foot and the hinges broke. Since the system is designed to turn itself off when its not in the right position this made the system very difficult to use.

Summary: I honestly would give it 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for how easy the hinges broke. The company has agreed to look at it and possibly exchange it. Now I need to find it. Maybe it was just a freak fall at an extremely weird angle. Maybe it is just not strong enough to play anywhere near children.

Pros: i confess it is a cool design. hard case is cool idea but kinda heavy.
Cons: when opened have to line up 2 metal contacts =awkward, to get it to work. sound is average. hinge is flimsy. case is heavy. ac cord is awkward to attach when open as is the line in. no usb charging. its not beefy enough to travel with.
Summary: its ok, i don't think there is enough value here. i own the "fox xl " speaker. no FM, but has a mic for calls, sound is on par maybe ...

Summary: its ok, i don't think there is enough value here. i own the "fox xl " speaker. no FM, but has a mic for calls, sound is on par maybe better w the fox xl, and 50.00 less, smaller, lighter, longer battery life, and much beefier...all metal. i think a "travel" speaker should be more robust since you have to move about with it. this increases your chances of dropping it. so it should be sturdy.
