Pros: Speedy RF response; RF dongle fits inside tool itself; timer with vibrating alert; volume control on tool
Cons: Timer has 5 minute increments only; no way to restart presentation from a slide in the middle of slide deck

Summary: This presentation tool is really something else. It's sleak, matte black exterior feels nice in the hands. The forward and back buttons, and the laser pointer button, are position perfectly. Most impressive, however, is how quickly the tool responds to forward and back button presses: there's no lag at all. You can quickly scroll through your slides without any latency. It's quite impressive.
Finally, the RF bridge fits inside the presentation tool itself. You slide it out with your finger, plug it intoa a USB port, and you're ready to go...no driver installation needed.
It also has great range, and no problems with interfering with other 2.4GHz devices.
My biggest beef with it is that it has a button that emultes pressing "F5" on a keyboard to start the presentation. This means that if you were in the middle of presentation mode, and pressed the "F5" button, the presentation goes into slide sorter mode. But then if you press the "F5" button again, the presentation does not restart from where you stopped it...rather, it starts over from the title slide. It's irritating, especially for big presentations.
Overall, it's one of the best presentation tools on the market. Others suffer from poor RF performance (what the hell does RF mean if I still have to point the mouse at the bridge in order to have it respond...) This Logitech tool though provides excellent performance at a great cost.
Pros: Small size, timer with vibration alert, laser pointer, battery management

Summary: A great device with good laser pointer, count-down timer with vibration alert at 5 minutes, 2 minutes and at the end of the time (great concept). On/off switch saves battery, plus battery indicator, long battery life. Good radio range. The USB receiver tucks neatly inside the controller. Start slide show (F5) and blank screen buttons are a nice touch. No drivers to install. But, two deficiencies: 1. In Powerpoint Presenters view (the preferred mode of operation for all professional presenters), you have to mouse-click on the main slide image to kick the remote forward / reverse controls into working. If you skip a slide, you have to mouse-click again to get the fwd/rvs to work again. Frustrating! 2. The count down timer starts to count down as soon as you set it, rather than when the start slide show / F5 button on the remote is pressed. Dumb!
Cons: LCD has no backlight, volume buttons have limited use during a PowerPoint

Summary: Easy to hold, 50' range to use in almost any size class room, quality neoprene case, easy to hold, small, USB receiver can be stored inside device. Also works with PC and Mac computers with no driver. This has been a hit for me and my colleagues at my University. Highly recommended if you do not need mouse functionality, just good old basic forward/back and a few fun extras.
