Nice remote but doesn't control all my components

Pros: Looks good, buttons are easy to find
Cons: It doesn't control my Pioneer DVD player and only partially controls my TV

Summary: This remote doesn't do it for me. I think it is unacceptable for the remote not to work for my Pioneer DVD player (about two years old). It does control my other VCR/DVR though. On my Westinghouse TV it only gives AV1 and TV as an input option so I couldn't get to my DVD player even if the codes did work for it. All the other TV functions work fine. All in all, if it works for you particular components it is a nice remote, but to call it "Universal" is quite a stretch.
