easy to setup and use

Pros: I HAVE HAD THREE BELKIN G ROUTERS THEY WORK FINE FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS THEN WRECKED.I THINK THEY ARE GARBAGE. A WASTE OF MONEY I WOULD BUY D- LINK OR OTHER

Good Value for the Price

Summary: After trying Netgear, DLink and various no-name routers, I came across this one. Normally a staunch hater of all things Belkin (harking all the way back to the attempted installation of a USB PCI card that was made too large to fit in a PCI slot -- brilliant!), I was skeptical, but soon came to realize that this is one of the more dependable routers on the market. It can occasionally get bogged down after a while, and sometimes access to web pages can be a bit slow, but it offers generally good performance.
My home network includes an iMac and a MacBook, connected wirelessly, as well as an Apple TV, which is wired to the router. LAN speed is fantastic; it can stream HD video from the iMac to the Apple TV while simultaneously transferring files from the MacBook to the iMac, and it does it at blazing speeds.
The internet connection could be better, but it functions respectably. Web pages can sometimes take a while to load, or will sit for a bit before they start loading. However, when playing network-intensive games such as Second Life, the system shows surprisingly little lag.
The unit also has very good range for the size, and it experiences very few lost connections. The restart rate for the router is very low -- in the two years I've owned it, I think it has needed a restart five times.
In all, a decent router if you're looking for something on the cheap, and it won't disappoint.
