The good: The Trendnet TEW-691GR 450Mbps Wireless-N gigabit router offers excellent close-range throughput performance. The router has a Web interface that's easy to use, and support for gigabit Ethernet.
The bad: The Trendnet TEW-691GR 450Mbps Wireless-N gigabit router's range throughput speeds could use some improvement. The router is expensive, doesn't have USB ports, and lacks support for dual-band and guest networking. It also runs hot.
The bottom line: The Trendnet TEW-691GR 450Mbps Wireless-N gigabit router is a very fast single-band wireless router. Unfortunately, its good performance doesn't make up for its hefty price tag and lack of features.

Poor WDS / Repeater Options Buggy

Pros: You can choose several encryption WEP WPA WPA2 etc for your AP's
Cons: CNET Review not through.
1. Limited custom network settings available through the Admin Console.
2. Admin PW only supports Numbers & Letters
3. WDS / Repeater support buggy.

Summary: Bottom Line. If you need a router that does not lose its Internet connection every few mins or you need to connect 1 or 2 AP's to the router then this is not the device for you. WDS / Repeater is buggy. AP Mac Address must be in slot 1 of the 4 slots provided or it will not work. Very few options for WDS / Repeater Mode..
Router kept dropping internet connection every 3 mins for all wireless clients & AP repeater after 5 mins.
Support stinks, you will be connected to India and will talk to someone that knows less then you about the product. The entire time I spoke to support they were trying to get me off the phone because they had no idea what I was talking about I am a network admin in real life.
