Be afraid, very afraid.

Pros: Cheap........
Cons: Very poor sound.

My first unit went belly up after less than 24 hours. The 2nd unit has horrible sound quality --> very "digital", hollow and flat - almost as bad as AM radio. FM sounds much better. I'll try the service for a few more months, but at this point, I'm glad that I only signed up for month-to-month. -

Summary: The Audiovox PNP2 works well, but it's going to be difficult to find a spot to put it in most vehicles due to it's size. One solution is inside the console, but it gets too hot. If you decide you want additional docking kits so you can move it from vehicle to vehicle you'll find that they are hard to find and very expensive. The display is easy to read and scrolls so long group names and song titles are transmitted in full. No stock ticker. When you're out of presets, the process of finding the station you want through the menu is best handled by someone not in control of a moving vehicle.

Sirius is great, but this audiovox product has very poor quality

Summary: i've had nothing but problems w/ this unit. like someone else reported here, i get the dreaded antenna not found error. i sent my unit back to audiovox to fix. they kept it for 6 weeks, then sent it back still broken. thanks guys. this is a crappy unit that shipped w/ known issues that affect a good percentage of users. i know this because an audiovoc rep told me as much. the support to remedy the problem is terrible. the people are nice enough, but they just tell you to send it back in for another "fix." save yourself the trouble of potentially getting one of the "lemon units" with the antenna problems and buy another brand.

Best gift I've ever received!
Pros: Easy to read display, tons of features. 30 presets, 20 song-seek, see what's playing on other channels. Sirius is fantastic!
Cons: Song-seek can not be programmed by artist only, must be artist/song title.

SIRIUS Killed AM/FM
Pros: 1. Variety, variety, variety... 2. All uncensored. Unlike this forum.... 3. Great way to discover new, obscure, and forgotten artists 4. Clear, reliable reception nearly everywhere (see #4 below). I'm listening to it right now thru home system. 5. L
Cons: 1. Be careful w/ kids in the car (profanity) 2. Some heat, but I've had mine nearly a year, run it several hours a day both @ home and in the car, and have observed no ill-effects 3. Transmitter only does so to 4 presets, so reception can be dodgy. This

Receiver Runs Hot. Miserable reception.
Pros: Programming on Sirius is great, especially if you like listening to the NFL or can wait another year for Howard Stern. Screen is easily read even in direct sunlight.
Cons: Product runs very hot compared to the XM SkyFi unit, is twice the size and has the asthetics of a gadget from the original Star Trek series. Reception was poor to non existent in my area (San Francisco Bay Area) unless the antenna was mounted in the preci

Audio needed FM Module
Pros: Seems to be a great product and the NFL season hasn't started yet! Purchased for long distance drives between Phoenix and LA on weekends. Unit is warm to the touch
Cons: Audio was not good, wireless FM modulator seems to be the problem. Purchased a Audiovox FM Switching Module (ADV SIRSWB - $16) and completely solved the problem. Not many people seem to know about this module, the installer at Best Buy did, but Best Buy
