Firmware crashed and you can't download it from HP

Pros: decent resolution
Cons: Expensive and HP customer support is lousy.

Summary: I have found that newer HP products are not up to par with companies like Brother that have better products for much less money. HP online technical chat is full of BOTS that give you the run around. My 10 year old HP stuff runs much better than my 1 year old HP products. HP is going down hill. Please don't buy HP for the name because you will be disappointed when something goes wrong.

Would if I could but I can't - No Snow Leopard Drivers

Pros: Wouldn't know .. can't use it yet
Cons: No Snow Leopard drivers available. HP lied three times about release date.

Summary: Purchased back in October with a whole new Mac Pro System - Snow Leopard OS. HP has yet to release Snow Leopard drivers for the thing. The older ones won't work at all in a new install (yes, even with Rosetta). The release date for these has been pushed back three times without explanation. Calls to Tech Support only result with a "sorry for your inconvenience" mantra. Completely frustrated at what now appears to be a waste of money. The thing could be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but if I can get drivers ... what's the point?
What really surprised my is the wall of silence from HP on the whole Snow Leopard Drivers issue .. not only for this model, but for the vast majority of their line.
