2011 Hyundai Sonata SE price range: $22,595.00

The good: The Sonata's optional navigation system features traffic with automatic rerouting. Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming is standard, as are USB, iPod, and analog audio inputs. The voice command system is quite good, with onscreen prompts for valid commands.
The bad: No manual transmission available on this "sporty" SE model. Navigation maps don't feature a 3D view.
The bottom line: The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a great value, packing in a strong assortment of standard and optional cabin tech, good looks, and performance, all while maintaining a relatively low price.

I love everything about this car... EXCEPT ONE THING!
by wvivz on December 17, 2010
Pros: Base Engine provides plenty of power! Dimention Sound system is a MUST HAVE! Nav System is easy to use and navigate around! Voice Commands are good too!
Cons: THE DREDED BLUETOOTH!

Summary: I love this car! its amazing! i have the SE model with the Sunroof + Nav and i must say, spend the extra 2 grand! its well worth it! The ONE THING I HATE and even though its a small minut gripe, its simply annoying! if you have a compatable bluetooth phone, your sonata can download the contacts from your phonebook automatically, and it does it very well and organizes it the same way as your phonebook. As long as your phone numbers are well organized the car will organize it accordingly. NOW! WHen you use the bluetooth voice command system, you MUST speak the name of your contact LAST NAME FIRST then FIRST NAME! if you give the command first name, last name, it will not understand the contact you are looking for. So for instance, if you need to call, John Doe you need to need to tell the system you woulod like to call Doe, John for the system to recognize the contact in your phone book. Granted its a small griipe but i feel like everything else is so perfect in the car that if they changed this problem , i would give it 10 stars if i could!!! i hope they release an update for the system !

Good Looks Excellent Value Smooth Drive Best Warranty

Pros: Redesigned exterior, 18 inch wheels, beautifully engineered touch screen & voice activation with bluetooth phone capability, navigation, xm, ipod dock, cd/mp3, comfy seats, smooth suspension, extremely roomy, big trunk, home link, great mpg

Summary: I did a month's worth of research, open to all types of cars (American/Asian/European, Sedan/Coupe/SUV) and I ended up purchasing the 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE. I guarantee you will not find more value in a car for the price. The new exterior makes heads turn. But it's the interior that puts the Sonata ahead of the crowd. The beautifully crafted and perfectly engineered touch screen system that ties everything together is a pleasure to use. I can browse/search my entire phonebook or if I'm driving, I can use the voice command to call one of my friends. The navigation system works seamlessly even when I am listening to the radio or on the phone with a client. The cabin is extremely spacious and the seats are comfortable. I could go on and on, but I can tell you in just weeks, you'll see this car everywhere on the streets.

Weak horn, some slight road noise
Updated on Jun 18, 2010Summary: Paddle shifters, six speed automatic, Bluetooh, 3 months free XM radio
After having this car for three months now, I am totally satisfied. The service people are knowledgable and courteous and have all the answers to my questions. The salesman showed me something this week that if the battery is going dead on the inteeligent key remote, you put the remote inside of an opening inside the console that is hooked up to the electrical system and the car will start. Amazing technology they have put into this car. The only drawback was the horn is weak sounding but otherwise, it is terrific. Wiat tillt hey come out wiht hte Turbo and the Hybrid int he Fall of this year they tell me.
Weak horn, some slight road noise
Updated on Jun 18, 2010
Updated on Jul 17, 2010After owning this car for four months now, I can only find one thing wrong with it-the horn sounds tinny for this car.The acceleration ia impressive, though the engine is a little noisy when it gets up around 4000 rpms but other than that, the car hugs the road wiht the SE trim and the dual exhausts are not really dual since the exhaust pipe is single from the engine then splits but it still raises the hp by 10%. Good enough for me!!!
Updated on Feb 1, 2011Now thatI have had this car for almost a year, the only thing I found that they could change would be that the door sills collect the dirt from water running off the roof-but other than that-it is great.I do not have the nav system but since i do not travel enough to pay for the extra expense, ti works for me. Mileage is all local for me and runs about 22-23 but on the longer trips i have made, it is about 33-34.Outstanding.I've been stopped twice by the cops, just to ask how i like the car!!!4 out of 5 users found this user opinion helpful.

New 2011 Sonata...a luxury car with small price tag
by gigirn66 on April 30, 2010
Pros: Sleek Design, SE package due to the dual exhaust...very sporty look, navigation / moonroof package, the price is incredible, considering what you are getting.
Cons: So far, I can not think of one thing that I dislike about the 2011 Sonata. Hyundai has outdone themselves in my opinion.

Summary: I just purchased a Hyundai Sonata SE with the navigation/moon roof package and all I can say is, "WoW". It feels very comfortable to sit in no matter if you are the driver or the back seat passenger. There is plenty of leg room even for my 6'3" boys. The SE with the navigation / moonroof package has every option but leather. I love the sportiness of this SE package with the dual exhaust pipes. The navigation is very intuitive. I can hook up my ipod, listen to tunes on XM radio, and use the bluetooth for my phone which is a huge plus. Although I am still breaking in my engine, I am averaging 30+ miles/gallon on hilly roads. If you are in the market for a new car, do not hesitate to purchase the all new 2011 Hyundai. I do not think you would be disappointed to get all these features for a price you cannot beat. After looking at cars for the past month, I found that the other competitors offered less options for their high end models and the prices were up to $6 thousand dollars more. I would say Hyundai knows what they are doing in this competitive market.

I did not like the stock horn and resolved this issue by having it removed and duel Italian horns installed.
The horn can now be heard and sounds great!
I had not one problem with my 2006 Sonata which I drove for 6 years and so far likewise with the 20111 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: My wife and I purchased a Sonota LTD Turbo, what a car. More toys than a space shuttle, very quick, and fuel mileage is already getting close to 30mpg, and it only has 3000 miles. Just remember that right pedal can effect your mileage considerably. Can't wait for our trip out Boston. Long term highway should really kick it up. But what power, that turbo is incredible!!
