Summary: Having owned a 2003 Honda Accord and putting 170k miles on it I had all but written off the brand this time around due mainly to the bland styling of the cars since the last overhaul in 2003. The car was reliable and generally trouble free but I just didn't see myself in a Honda again. Fast forward to 2013 and I'm singing a different tune. The styling redesign was a pleasant surprise and after a few drives I had no trouble adding the Honda Accord to my list of possible purchases. This is solid and quiet car with the features I wanted (EX trim) at a competitive price point.
Bottom Line:The 2013 Honda Accord EX employs well-engineered drivetrain technology, but Honda reserves most of the electronic gadgetry for the Accord's higher trim levels.
