The good: With fuel economy in the mid-40s, the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid stands among the top fuel sippers. The available Fender audio system delivers excellent sound quality.
The bad: The Jetta Hybrid commands a big premium over its non-electrified sibling. The available navigation system does not show traffic data.
The bottom line: Volkswagen's new hybrid system in the 2013 Jetta is a winner, delivering good driving characteristics and excellent fuel economy, but the cabin tech lacks features for a car in this price range.

Great Gas mileage! Comfortable car and driving!

Pros: Good gas mileage; great technology; electric motor even kicks in while on the highway driving over 55. Nice interior!
Cons: Price but still beats the Ford Cmax.

Summary: coasting down hill and driving 7 miles almost fully on electric - mileage registerd 120mpg - then continued to drive 50 miles on the highway returning back up a steep hill (3 miles) - mpg for whole trip was 50.7! Take that - Toyota Prius! and the Jetta looks like a normal Jetta! LOVE IT!
