  Great 2 Channel Speakers

  Pros: These speakers are a tremendous buy for the money. They are precise and have surprising bass. They really can handle the power and although they are great at low power, you can push it up and they just get better. Highly recommend for 2 channel.

  Summary: Great set of speakers for a 2 channel system. Precise and accurate is how I would describe them. They have excellent bass and handle higher power levels well. I would highly recommend these for a 2 channel system as I have not used them in any other capacity.

  Surprisingly Excellent Sound

  Pros: Size, bass output, and overall sound.

  Cons: Vocals sound a little nasal. Equalizing correct this.

  Summary: These were a replacement for Advent Legacy's which I owned for 22 years and had to retire reluctantly as they were 91% accurate. While I am not an "audiophile" I am a professional musician. I heard the 200's in a showroom and pitted them against the Polk RTI A1 and A3. The A1's were very clear and clean but there was little bass. The A3 had more of a low end but I wasn't sold on them either. When I had the salesman demo'ed the 200's ( he did so reluctantly as they were much cheaper in price compared to the RTI A9 and A7 which he was trying to steer me to), I heard a low frequency that was missing from the Ai and A3. I knew I would need to tweak them for my home but the fact that the low frequency was present in this model gave me hope especially for the price. Once I set up the TSII 200's at home, I was disappointed at first . Then when I got the EQ right they blew me away. All the tracks I tested on the 200's popped. Vocals sounded nasal at first but with EQ you can correct this. The 200's can handle volume so don't be afraid to push them. Also, you don't need a high end amp or bi-amp set up. Also, give the 200's room to breath. Place them about 10 to 12 inches from the wall. For the size and the price I am very happy.

  They Sound terriffic.

  Pros: Very attractive (I got the cherry veneer) and sound wonderful. My digital music collection never sounded better.

  Cons: I was a liitle surprised with their size. They are not too large, but bigger than what I imagined.

  Summary: I got a pair at half price from Newegg and feel that they were well worth the expense. My music sounds great and wathcing movies is a whole new experience.
