The good: The Verizon iPhone 4 offers a hot-spot feature not available on AT&T's device. Performance was better in most regards.
The bad: The Verizon iPhone 4 lacks world roaming and the ability to access voice and data simultaneously. The hot-spot feature didn't work with all devices.
The bottom line: The Verizon iPhone 4 has much in common with its AT&T counterpart, but varying features and different performance give it enough room to stand apart. It won't vastly change your iPhone experience, but we welcome the consumer choice that it brings.

Pros: The absolute best thing about the phone, and the single-most influential reason for which I bought it, is the high-resolution screen.
Cons: There are several bad things about the phone as well, and its hard to pick which is the worst. The worst big negative I noticed, and was surprised by, is the battery life.

Pros: -The quality of the build was very good.
-Very solid construction, but the glass back worried me.
-The facetime app was cool wifi only
-The screen was incredible to look at (as long as its less that foot from your eyes)

Summary: After I had the iPhone for 5 or 6 days the data rate went way down. I had such high hopes for this phone, and needless to say I was so disappointed that I took it back after eleven days. The speed on the phone was not much faster than a blackberry that I had 2 years ago. To be very blunt the iPhone just cant do all the things that a Android phone can do.
The facetime app was very cool but you had to be on wifi, so that killed the biggest advantage of this iphone. The battery life was also not very good
The app store: hey anybody need 75 different to do lists @ $.99 each? Would you like a really good GPS program for you iPhone, only $100.00 (comes with the Androids). The app store is just filled with repetitive garbage. Maybe it should be called the 'crapp' store. Even Angy Birds was $.99 (free on android market). I think that the iPhone and iPad are just tools for Apple to sell stuff at the app store.
The iPhone; its platform looks old and it is. It does not out preform other phones with a 1ghz chip (I have had a Fascinate, Droid X, and Incredible) There is just nothing that special about this phone. Verizon has already become At&t and dialed down the speed so way to go Big Red.
In the final judgment:
-If you want a phone that you can customize and make it to fit your personal needs then this is not the phone for you, get a Droid.
-If you just want an iPhone to show all your friends that you have an iPhone, by all means get one.
-This phone should be priced at $99 for what you get and what you have to spend in the app store to do any thing with it. Don't waste your money on this phone. You can get a lot more value with any Android phone and it will save you money in the long run.
-If you have never had a smart phone, can tolerate dial up internet speed, and have too much money in the bank this if the (not so) smart phone for you.3 out of 8 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: I got the iphone 4 from verizon in february and it worked great until late may (when verizon launched 4g). Since then, when I'm at home it will lose the connection several times a day. I'll have 4 bars, then "searching", then "No Service". If I turn it off then on it will work for a short period of time. This is my 3rd iphone, same results. Apple says it is a network problem, verizon claims it is the fault of the device. I have traveled through many rural areas of the midwest without a problem, but as soon as I get home the phone becomes useless. My neighbor has had the iphone for a month with the same problem. Verizon claims to have checked my local cell tower (I can see it from my house) and it is working properly.
