Best phone I've had.
by autobot022 on April 3, 2012
Pros: The picture clarity is great!! Easy to use, I've had no problems with the phone. I've downloaded a few apps on it and everything is still running smoothly. Its a fun phone to have.
Cons: I can't find anything I don't like about this phone yet.

Summary: Since the first day I've had this phone, its been hard to put it down. First the vibrant screen, all colors look great!! I love it, so easy to use and move back and forth. I've always had problems with Pandora with previous phones and with this phone, it runs flawlessly. The feel of the phone is very smooth. The camera quality is great also, I've been enjoying taking pictures with it. Doing the updates with this phone is something else, not sure, because I've never had an i-phone before, if its because of Sprint or the way the i-phone is made, to update this phone is very easy. Videos and Pictures are of good quality. I have nothing but good things to say about this phone, I have yet to find something I don't like about it.

PERFECTION
by jlzturner on January 17, 2012
Pros: Design, beautiful color (retina) display, multi-tasking,
LED flash, front camera, ability to create folders with your apps, etc. etc. etc!Cons: I think the screen could be just a tad big larger.
Summary: It was time for me to upgrade to a smartphone. I researched many, many phones and I kept coming back to the iPhone.

Summary: I don't know how I ever lived without my iPhone! I had an HTC Evo Shift 4G with Sprint. And when I found out Sprint was going to get the iPhone, I knew I had to have it! I will NEVER have another phone EVER. I will ALWAYS have an iPhone! I have the 8GB iPhone 4. The reason I didn't get the iPhone 4S is because 1) I didn't want to pay the extra money for it and 2) When the next iPhone comes out I will be ready for an upgrade so I will just get the newest then. I love this phone. I have noticed that the battery seems to drain pretty quick BUT I use it ALL THE TIME! But thankfully I have a Mophie case for my phone which charges it if I need more battery life. I have many different cases including a Mophie, Otterbox, and two Belkin cases that I absolutely LOVE! ALSO...MAKE SURE YOU BUY A SCREEN PROTECTOR!!!! You wouldn't want to drop your iPhone and it bust the screen. I have had a screen protector and some kind of case on my iPhone since I got it, because I want my iPhone to look BRAND NEW 2 years from now! I change my cases often just because it's fun to have something different. I would recommend buying an Otterbox if you want to really have total protection of your iPhone if you drop it, buying a Mophie if you don't ever want to have your iPhone die, or buying Belkin cases if you want your iPhone to look different than other iPhone users! I could go ON AND ON about my iPhone but I'm gonna stop here. THE iPhone IS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Solid if you don't need the latest and greatest.
by Esky25 on November 3, 2011
Pros: iOS5, great camera, slim and gorgeous, unlimited data (Sprint), retina display, tons of accessories available.
Cons: 8 GB is not much for music, video, and app lovers. No memory expansion option. Some might want a bigger screen. It won't talk back. No native turn by turn directions (must buy paid apps).

Summary: I've had previous iPhones and I just switched from an HTC EVO 4G. The EVO delivered plenty of Android goodness and Sprint wasn't shy about delivering the updates to the OS promptly but I missed the polish and stability of iOS. iOS wasn't perfect either but Android came with more bugs and required a bit more maintenance. Battery issues meant continuous app killing and carrying a spare battery. I pre-ordered my iPhone 4 and received it the same day that the iPhone 4S was released. It came pre-loaded with iOS 5 which saved me the hassle of updating. Aside from the Google Voice app issue that caused constant crashes, I haven't had much app related trouble. The fix worked and apparently, Sprint is Google Voice friendlier than the other carriers by allowing more of its functions. I'm probably in the minority by wanting a smaller than 4.3 inch screen. I found that one hand operation on that big of a screen was just a tad uncomfortable for me. The iPhone 4's 3.5 is fine although I wouldn't be opposed to a slight increase to 3.8 or maybe 4 inches. Not having a 4G radio isn't a big loss since I had coverage in very few places and I tended to keep it off anyway since it killed my battery considerably faster. It may not be the most advanced smartphone on the market but it covers all my needs and wants in a smartphone very well.

Hardware that can handle software which actually works!
by Justin-707 on April 3, 2012
Pros: Unlike Android smartphones, of which I have owned many on multiple cariers (Evo 4G, Esteem) the iPhone is able to support all applications and simple phone tasks without incident.
Cons: The storage on these devices could be a bit more affordable considering that they are made in sweatshops.

Summary: All and All fantastic phone, I bought the white 8gb model, dont have a hugh music library so 8gb was plenty for me. I upgraded from the iphone 3g with IOS 4!!! The speed difference between the two phones is night and day! I literally turned texting off on my iphone 3g not because I didnt want it, but because I could not keep up with those texting me... my 3g was SOOOO slow after the IOS 4 update. The only main feature I wish it did have was siri, but certainly was not a deal killer. I will wait until Iphone 5 or 5s before upgrading again.

A reliable, high-end
by ebishop5 on November 5, 2011
Pros: iOS5, 5 megapixel camera & flash, retina display, tons of useful apps, call quailty is admirable. Furthermore, I love the slim, expensive-looking design, and the user-interface is simple to use.
Cons: In need of more customization, battery drains out quickly.
Summary: The iPhone 4 8gb is simply amazing. It's the first high-end smartphone I've purchased and I have no plans on returning it.I wanted the 8gb because I ...
Summary: The iPhone 4 8gb is simply amazing. It's the first high-end smartphone I've purchased and I have no plans on returning it.I wanted the 8gb because I don't listen to a large variety of music, so I figured it would be enough. Originally, I had the Huawei Ascend on Cricket wireless, which runs on Android 2.1. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with cricket's slow network, the amount of dropped calls, and the phone's constant lag. So, I ended up coughing over the extra amount it would cost to get Sprint's iPhone 4. I'm extremely pleased with this device; I haven't kept my hands off of it since. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a reliable, fast smartphone.
A reliable, high-end device that gets the job done!!
