The good: Apple's iPhone 4S has a faster processor and an upgraded camera, all the benefits of iOS 5, and a useful and immensely fun voice assistant. Call quality on the Sprint model is admirable, and the data speeds, while certainly not 4G, get the job done.
The bad: It's about time we get a larger screen.
The bottom line: The iPhone 4S isn't the king of cell phones, but it's part of the royal family nonetheless. Even without 4G and a giant screen, this phone's smart(ass) voice assistant, Siri, the benefits of iOS 5, and its spectacular camera make it a top choice for anyone ready to upgrade.

Summary: Why buy any other phone? This phone has the features you could possibly ask for and then some. The fluidity of how everything in the phone moves makes it very pleasing to the eye, not to mention built in Retina Display. I have been using this phone for nearly a year and I haven't found one serious flaw besides the fact that it needs a case. Which isn't a big deal! Customizing your own case adds personal style anyways.
Some say the screen is not big enough. I've held other phones with a bigger screen such as the Galaxy S II and even though the large screen is somewhat nicer, it's actually not. Why? Because the size of the iPhone ergonomically fits perfectly into your hand without having to stretch it all the way around. Besides this is a PHONE not a TABLET.
Another issue for people was battery life. This is at the fault of the own user. I've had this phone for a year and I've had no unreasonable problems with the battery. If you are having fast battery drainage problems you either: have your brightness all the way up, have all your apps open and need to close them frequently (by holding the home button and Xing out the apps) , or you are constantly on it. Of course if you are constantly on your phone, brightness all the way up, going app to app that your battery WILL drain. And by simply turning the brightness a little down, closing apps more oftentimes, and aren't constantly being on the phone, the battery should should last the whole day and then some perfectly fine!
This is definitely the king of smartphones of this generation. -

Pros: Speed, screen retina display, build quality is like it has been handmade by artisans.
Cons: IMO this is the perfect smartphone. Has what it should and does it well, doesn't try to do things it can't. Would like to see a slightly bigger screen fit into the same chassis used currently.

Calling experience is terrible, about 1/3 of phone calls i need to press "speaker" button to unblock the phone, sometimes from the other side cannot hear me, i think every phone for 30$ is better than iPhone for 700$.

Smart phones; you can't live with them, and you can't live without them. This device has been around for only a short period of time, but it has advanced to astounding levels. They have easily cultivated an entire generation. The iPhone 4S is a smart phone that takes the smart phone experience to the next level. Everywhere you look there is an iPhone 4S being used to enjoy music, surf the web, play around with innovated applications, and much more. The iPhone 4S is an efficient, durable, affordable, and wise choice for consumers who know what they need.
The iPhone 4S is one of the most efficient phones on the market right now. There are countless tools and applications integrated into this particular phone that blow the competition out of the water. This smart phone has a state-of-the-art tool called "Siri". It gives people the ability to ask questions verbally and have the iPhone respond back in the same fashion. It can give you directions, set an alarm, and provide information about stores. I like to think of Siri as a pocket-sized concierge; available for one's everyday needs. Along with Siri there are millions of apps that can be downloaded onto this phone. They range from finding restaurants near you to getting the stock market's stats for the day. Another application is FaceTime, which allows users to stay in touch with people by allowing them to actually see who they are talking to. FaceTime is a more powerful version of Skype without all the glitches. The downside to this tool is that it can only be used with other iPhone 4S's or iPad 2's. The iPhone 4S is quick at sending text messages, even while using Wifi. It has space for many songs for every music lover. This phone is on top of its game.
Sometimes the iPhone 4S gets a bad rap for being vulnerable to the dangers of everyday life. This is very true. Without a good case to protect your iPhone, it won't remain in good condition for long. For example, if dropped, the phone's screen will mostly likely shatter. In this case, the entire phone is ruined, due to the fact that the screen is the one link to everything on the phone. A million and one things can go wrong with this smart phone when it is dropped. However, there is hope. When purchasing the iPhone 4S, there is also an insurance plan available for the phone. Insurance is something to consider if you have a tendency to drop your phone. The battery life on the iPhone 4S is on the fence in my opinion. The phone needs to be charged either every day or every other day, depending on use. Because of this, keeping your charger nearby is a must for this phone.
You have learned that the iPhone 4S is efficient and durable, but now you'll find out the cost. This phone can range in cost. In my experience, the phone itself cost $213.56. That seems like a lot of money, however, as far as smart phones go this isn't as overpriced as people may think. The cost of accessories varies. The cases, like the Otter box, are some of the more expensive accessories. If you're a customer who is smart and thrifty, then you can find accessories online that are at cheaper prices. This is just like clothing stores in the clearance section, you just have to dig. This phone isn't for a consumer who doesn't have the resources for the up keep. It is unfair that the phone itself isn't particularly costly, but the accessories are. This phone isn't for everybody so make sure it fits into the appropriate price range for you.
The iPhone 4S is something to think about if you're looking for a new smart phone. This phone is in many ways efficient, durable, and affordable...for the right customer. The iPhone 4S is ahead of its time and has the applications to stand behind it. This product isn't for every consumer, however. For the customer with music, a need for efficiency, and some money to spend, the iPhone is perfect. -

I think $660 CAD is a bit too much for a smart phone, but it's totally worth it. The phone looks REALLY nice (maybe just my opinion) but because it's pretty fragile, you basically need a case. Does perfectly all the things I need it to do. One of the biggest things I like about it is that it just works. The quality is VERY good too. You might call me biased but I must still say that is one of the best smart phones out there. Overpriced, but worth it.

I upgraded to an iPhone 4s from an iPhone 4 and found myself very happy with it. This phone is fast and apps loads as quickly as I move my fingers from from the screen. I play words with friends often and noticed lag on my iPhone 4.... Not with this one. Very quick and efficient. The camera is phenomenal and the best I have ever seen on a phone. It loads quickly even from the lock screen. Call quality is much better and it is noticeable. The internet is very quick compared to my 4. I noticed I was getting 3MB consistently a few weeks ago on it now with the 4s I'm consistently getting 5 MB down and 1MB upload no problem. Siri is cool but in all honestly it's a tad bit overrated. I haven't really used it much but it reminds me of Apple's previous generation voice command on steroids. It is very useful but you have to speak clearly. I'm sure I will utilize it more and more in the future. One thing I really like though is the speak to text which is embedded into your keyboard throughout the phone. You can speak your text across the platform. This makes it so much easier to send text, update Facebook status, browse the web etc.... This alone is the best feature for me. The speaker has been updated as well. Calls and text come through very loud and clear. Apple didn't mention this as an added or updated feature but they should have as it is worth mentioning. I work in a loud environment and this has been a pleasant surprise. I was on the fence about updating from my 4 but after having it since June 2010 I figured it was time and I'm glad I did. I got it from a local Radio Shack since Apple and AT&T stores were still sold out. I also traded in my 32GB iPhone 4 for $300 at Radio Shack which paid for my new one and then some. Also the fact you are eligible to upgrade to an iPhone every year as an AT&T customer helped make my decision easier as I will be getting an the 5 upon release. Battery life is subpar compared to my previous one but Apple is said to be working on a fix 5.0.2 that should finally take care of it. Once that is fixed I this will be a 5 star phone hands down. Hope this review helps. -
