The good: Apple's iPhone 4S has a faster processor and an upgraded camera, all the benefits of iOS 5, and a useful and immensely fun voice assistant. Call quality on the Sprint model is admirable, and the data speeds, while certainly not 4G, get the job done.
The bad: It's about time we get a larger screen.
The bottom line: The iPhone 4S isn't the king of cell phones, but it's part of the royal family nonetheless. Even without 4G and a giant screen, this phone's smart(ass) voice assistant, Siri, the benefits of iOS 5, and its spectacular camera make it a top choice for anyone ready to upgrade.

Pros: Smooth operating system. Seamless email integration. Excellent keyboard. Solid battery life. Best looking phone on the market. Works great with other Apple accounts/products. Very fast 3G. Camera quality. Siri.
Cons: No 4G. Screen could be bigger. Lots of uncool people use iPhones and that bothers me :-)

Summary: I've had 3 Blackberries and 2 Androids. I always said I would never make the switch. The HTC EVO was great, but super heavy and a battery hog. Blackberries simply can't compete. My Samsung Galaxy SII had a lot of bugs and that was what drove me to switch. I really haven't noticed the smaller screen like I thought I would. The only time the lack of 4g is a problem is when downloading songs or videos over 3G. Wifi connectivity is seamless and web browsing on Sprint's 3G is about as fast as my Androids were on 4G. Definitely go for the 4S rather than the 4. Siri is cool, but more a novelty than a necessity...Overall this phone is as good as you'd hope.

Pros: Very large collection of high-quality apps, compared to Android and other such competitors. Probably best camera overall, in the phone category.
Cons: Not far off from the older iPhone 4. Not much improvement, but it adds up in the end to a good enough product to buy, especially if you have paid apps already on iOS.

The iPhone 4S is the latest cell phone from the apple company. Apple was set to release the iPhone 5, but released the 4S instead. The iPhone 4S is a newer and more up to date version of the iPhone 4. It contains many of the features that the 4 does, but has a little extra involved. The two phones look exactly identical on the outside, but although they may look the same, there are a few new things that distinguish the iPhone 4S from the iPhone 4.
One of the new features on the iPhone 4S is an updated camera. The camera on this phone is an eight mega pixel camera. It has new tools and features such as: a cropping feature, a rotating feature, enhanced photo quality, and the ability to remove the red-eye effect from a photo. The camera on the iPhone 4S also has a backside illumination sensor, which is better for taking photos in areas with lower lighting. It also comes with an image stabilization feature and the ability to record full videos with 1080p resolution, which is a very high resolution. The camera on the iPhone 4S is a rather nice upgrade from the iPhone 4.
Another feature on the iPhone 4S that is different from the iPhone 4 is Siri integration. Siri is basically like a personal assistant on your phone. With the push of a button, you can ask Siri anything that you would like to know and the answer will be provided either directly from it, or you will be directed to an internet site that should provide the answer that you are looking for. For example: If you would like to know the weather in Evansville, IN, you could simply say "Evansville weather." Once that is said, the weather for that city will be displayed within a matter of five seconds. It is a rather unique and one of a kind app.
There are some applications that are the same on the iPhone 4S as they were on the iPhone 4 such as: the weather app, YouTube, videos, stocks, and maps. These apps are all also very useful, especially the map app. I have been lost a few times and I simply just typed in where I wanted to go, and the map gave me turn by turn directions. It really comes in handy.
The iPhone 4S is a fast and intuitive phone. It will be very beneficial to any and everyone who purchases it. It does just about anything you could as for in a phone. The iPhone 4S is a very fast phone that can do things that range from telling you the weather, to giving you precise directions, to capturing precious moments on the camera. Anyone looking to purchase a great quality phone, this would be the one to get. I made the decision to get this phone towards the end of 2011, and have not had any regrets about it at all. Summary: I purchased this when I switched to Sprint for unlimited data and good plan pricing. I used to have an iPhone 3Gs on AT&T. IOS 5 and Siri work together perfectly. My only concern is Apple falling behind on screen size, however, this is minor (in my opinion).
The battery is extremely short, I don't know if that is a network issue or part of the plan. I will try and go through a few cycles and see.

Pros: Siri is super fun to use and in my opinion quite helpful if you put it to use. The upgraded camera is a huge pro for me, having an 8mp camera finally in the IPhone was fantastic. The dual core processor was also wonderful for me it is so much faster.
Cons: I was hoping to see an enhanced battery with superb battery life, I have noticed the battery life is a little bit battery, but not by much.

As soon as I press the wake button, another percent goes down and as long as i'm using the phone it goes down 1% every few minutes. I have gotten two replacements from Apple and same problem. Some 4s batteries are great though. 8 hours of usage and the battery only depletes 50%. I guess some are just lemons.
