The good: Apple's iPhone 4S has a faster processor and an upgraded camera, all the benefits of iOS 5, and a useful and immensely fun voice assistant. Call quality on the Sprint model is admirable, and the data speeds, while certainly not 4G, get the job done.
The bad: It's about time we get a larger screen.
The bottom line: The iPhone 4S isn't the king of cell phones, but it's part of the royal family nonetheless. Even without 4G and a giant screen, this phone's smart(ass) voice assistant, Siri, the benefits of iOS 5, and its spectacular camera make it a top choice for anyone ready to upgrade.

Pros: My upgrade came up on Oct. 13. Not soon enough as I was upgrading from an HTC Droid which was terrible. I would miss 80% of my calls on the HTC due to its poor reaction on the touch screen. I thought the Android platform was good, but it doesn't compar

Screen size for gaming might be a con for some, but if you want to game, get an iPad.... The larger screens are cumbersome to carry so I would actually rather have the smaller screen anyway so really no con here.Summary: Great Product

Pros: - Siri voice assistant makes managing calendars and other information much more convenient
- Stunning photo quality
- Exceptional calling quality
- Very fastCons: - Siri does not currently have any APIs for an outlet that works with 3rd party apps. I believe this will be added later, but as it stands now, I cannot send a Facebook message to someone, or book a flight on Delta with Siri.

Anyone who has had a Droid seems to enjoy it at first but then moves on quickly and wants an Iphone. Just skip the second guessing and get the Iphone, you won't regret it!

Pros: Very Fast, Great Camera, better battery life than other smart phones, SIRI.
Cons: Cannot sync contacts with gmail with IOS5. No message LED indicator. No turn by turn navigation.

Summary: Pros: All in all a great phone. I renewed my contract with Verizon and upgraded from a Motorola Droid. Battery life is much better than my previous phone, as well as the camera is probably the best I have seen on a smart phone. SIRI is also a nice feature, however I really doubt I will ever be using it much. It will play all my music and videos without a hiccup. Phone performs smooth and opens apps very fast. The screen size works good for me as I like to have something that is not too big for me to want to carry around.
Cons: I did like how my old phone would sync with my gmail account for my calender and contacts. Supposedly this feature was removed with IOS5 and the new Icloud introduction. I also didn't like how they don't have any LED indicator to let me know if I had a message or email. I was also expecting better navigation for this phone, as my old phone worked great at finding places that I would search for and mapping them out with turn by turn directions. There are some apps out there to do this, however I have found nothing that compares to the google navigation for a phone.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

After visiting a couple websites and viewing some utube videos on the phone, I went to my Verizon store. The first thought was to use the 14 day trial to see if I liked it.
Well, I am 5 days into the trial period and I am discovering something new about the phone every day! This phone is unbelievable.
No problem getting my contact information as Verizon did that for me when I purchased the phone.
So if you are a Verizon customer and have any doubts, try it out. It will cost you about $35.00 to return the item if you don't like the phone. I think you will be like me, pleasantly supprised.1 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: Smooth and reliable OS, camera quality, screen size, after market accessories, pretty, fast
Cons: No 4G, lack of full customization, contact and calendar syncing is lacking, no LED indicator, no replaceable battery, no expandable storage, maps and navigation is lacking, screen size, multitasking is not as polished

Summary: I have been a happy Verizon customer since I bought my first smart phone, which was an android. I loved it, but it got slow and unreliable so decided to replace it with an iPhone (which wasn't available on Verizon when I got my first smart phone). After spending a week with the phone I returned it. It wasn't that it is not a good phone, because it is. Everything that it can do it does very well, more often than not better than my old android. But it was the things that it couldn't do that made me return it. I simply could not live without those things after living with them for almost 3 years.
Here are some specifics:
-I like to customize my phone exactly the way I want. The iPhone allowed for some customization, but it was really just moving stuff around.
-I bring a spare battery on trips (backpacking, camping, etc) when I know I won't be able to charge my phone for a few days. This is not even possible with the iPhone.
-I like seeing a blinking LED light so I don't have to actually check my phone for notifications
-There is no standard turn by turn navigation like there is with android
-IMO, one button does simply not cut it for a smart phone. Double press for this, long press for that... even after I got used to this I didn't think the single button cut it. Features such as multitasking just seem like they were added on top of the OS and don't seem as refined as they were with android.
Now for the stuff I will miss dearly:
-Smooth OS
-The speed - enough said
-Camera quality - top notch (front facing, not so much)
-The huge choice of aftermarket accessories (all the cases, docks, car accessories... oh my)
In conclusion, this is a great phone, but not the phone for me. I was going to just stay with my old android, but after having the speed and smoothness of the iPhone I want to throw it out the window. We'll see....1 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.
