The good: The HP Veer 4G has a cute, compact design. WebOS continues to shine in areas such as multitasking and universal search.
The bad: The Veer 4G's tiny screen makes even the simplest tasks difficult. The smartphone uses a proprietary connector and requires a separate adapter if you want to use headphones. AT&T's "4G" data speeds are slow.
The bottom line: The HP Veer 4G looks cute and packs in a good amount of features for the price and size, but ultimately the smartphone's compact design hinders usability and limits its appeal.
Pros: The phone does work, but only if you are an oompa loompa
Cons: did I say the phone is ridiculously small? small buttons, small screen, small, small small small. Ridiculously small. It just doesn't work for what it is designed to do.

Summary: While HP is trying to re-brand the Palm empire and make it something new and exciting. What it's turning out to be is just not good.
They've ditched their "legacy" device customers in order to try to jump-start the phones 'Apply' style. However just two years ago Palm failed with webOS for the same reason HP is going to fail with webOS. They've made all the hardware proprietary and nobody has been able to pull off that feat except Apple.
Unfortunately since they've now also made their devoted fanbase customers angry as well by lying to them about the webOS2.0 upgrade on their Legacy Devices I'm not sure exactly whose going to be buying these new webOS phones.
