The good: The beautifully designed HTC Droid DNA features a quad-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 4G LTE, a sharp 5-inch screen, an excellent camera, and long battery life.
The bad: The Droid DNA's large size makes it tricky to fit in tight pockets, and it lacks both an SD card slot and a removable battery.
The bottom line: With quad-core power, 4G LTE, a lovely 5-inch screen, and a stunning design, the $199.99 HTC Droid DNA is currently Verizon's best Android deal.

Summary: Beautifully bright and crisp 5" 1080p LCD 3 screen is extremely bright and has amazing clarity even in direct sunlight. Combining the latest quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 4G LTE makes this phone lightning fast whether you are playing a game, watching a movie, emailing, browsing the web, or doing heavy multitasking, this phone powers through it all with zero lag. Camera and video quality is very impressive with extra features such as panorama, HDR, slow motion video capture, being able to capture a video and take a photo at the same time, etc. The front facing camera contains an ultra wide lens to ensure you get everything in your photo or video at an arms length away. HTC has always made their phones with great build quality and brilliant eye catching designs, and this phone is no exception. Although the battery is only a 2020 mAH battery running a quad-core processor, this battery powers through a full day of use. On heavy use days it lasts on average about 12-14hrs and on moderate use about 16-18hrs.
The only cons i would have to say about this phone is that there is no option to install an external MicroSD card. And although the battery is great, it would have been nice to able to still swap it out if needed.

Pros: Good screen, Good hands free, Able to disable bulk apps that I don't want. GPS works unlike other phones that crap out after 7 hours of travel
Cons: Poor audio on Bluetooth voice announce. Distorted audio on Bluetooth to h/s, lousy Battery Life, Battery runs down even when on charge with open apps. Slow home screen icons, No extra memory card. Needs more memory. No redial on voice commands.
Summary: Still needs work to make it complete

Not tried and true, lacking qualtiy control

Pros: Great features, awesome screen, screaming fast, fabulous battery life.
Cons: Sense needs patches already. SIM card and PUK errors on brand new phones. Reliability and dependability is poor.

Summary: Phone became inoperable after only 3 days. After hours of setting it up just how I wanted, verizons first course of action was to do a factory reset. Problem re-occured again in 3 days. Verizon replaced the phone with a new unit, same problem again in 3 days. Called Verizion, they could only suggest a factory reset. Called HTC and they said it was a known issue that required a software patch. They walked me through the process and that problem was fixed. However a few days later I got a sim card error and no service. Rebooting the phone fixed the issue, however the error (and often a PUK code error).re-occures every 3 days. Verizon put a new sim card in the phone, but 3 days later the error re-apperas. Now the 14 day trial is up, HTC says I have to send the (brand new) phone in for repair (10+ days turn around), and Verizion has know clue what to do, except order me a warranty refurbished phone, that will probably have both of the orignial issues. Brand new phone with continued "known" problems from day 3 and the only solution is to be without a phone for more than 10 days, or take another phone with "most likely" the same issues.

Can't say enough about this device, really excellent.
by Jrmoremen on January 30, 2013
Pros: Giant, beautiful screen. Easy and slick interface. Fast, fast, fast. Loads apps in less than 1/4 time of my HTC Thunderbolt. Incredibly thin and light for the size of the screen. Very responsive keyboard for texting and smarter autocorrect than most
Cons: If you have small hands it's tough to manage. Screen scratches pretty easy so may need a cover if you're not careful. Google Play still more limited than Apple App Store.

Summary: What more can i say about this phone? Its just amazing, super fast and gets the job done. most complain about the battery life but for me i think its great coming from my HTC thunderbolt with 12 hour battery with no use at all. to this with moderate to slight heavy use and getting almost 12 hours is much better for me. I like the fact that its much slimmer and light weight but yet very durable. even with a otterbox defender case and zagg screen protector to replace the annoying otterbox built in protector, it still is easy to take in and out of pocket. and much better improvement on otterbox's part by making it fit in the holster much better as i tend to put in in my pocket or the holster. the memory on the other hand is iffy. 16 gigs formatted to 11 gigs usable isnt very much when it comes to shooting video. for me its not a big deal since i mainly have music and pictures more then anything on my phones. but for some this may not be the phone for you if you like to do a lot more video. the speeds of this phone on the network are amazing. much faster then my thunderbolt was on 4G and even on wifi the phone responds a lot quicker. the GPS as others have said locks on in a snap where as my Thunderbolt couldn't quiet lock the position very well. i kind of wish the charging port was on the side verses the bottom of the phone with the annoying flap. and it would have been nice if otterbox would have included a charging cover on the case like they have in the past on there other phone cases. but all around this phone is great and i would recommend this phone to anyone.

Summary: I love this phone. If you have a chance to pick this bad boy up on Verizon do it. However, I would strongly advice you check out T-Mobile's deals. I learned this phone was unlocked and bought it off ebay for a tidy sum so we wouldn't have to pay 200 bucks a month for a couple smartphones. I am paying 30 bucks for my phone monthly from T-Mobile's service. I get unlimited texts, unlimited data with 5GB 4G data, and 100 mins. Its a great deal; however the only problem is that the DNA doesn't currently support T-Mobile's older 4G band. After talking to a representative, he said they will be upgrading their towers to a faster more reliable 4G service in the weeks to come. In the meantime, I am stuck on EDGE, GPRS and slow networks. BTW contrary to what people say, i was still able to load up the cnet page and browse contently with pictures taking a few seconds to load. Its not that bad, but 4G.... I cant wait.
What phone did you just review? The DNA is not known for its memory... but is known for customization because its an Android.
PS- Suck it iphone 5.
