The good: The Nexus One has a gorgeous display, a lightning-fast processor, and a loaded feature set. The enhanced voice capabilities worked flawlessly, and the phone delivers solid performance.
The bad: Like other Android phones, the Nexus One forces you to store apps on the internal memory. The media player remains average, and it's missing some wanted features like hands-free Bluetooth dialing. Currently, Outlook Calendar syncing is not available.
The bottom line: It doesn't have all the features we'd like, but the Nexus One greatly enhances the Google Android family with a fast processor, good call quality, and improved voice control features. What's more, we love that all versions of the phone will be unlocked.

Summary: If you don't mind clunky button and seemingly unsettling feeling of unit itself, OS is not such a horrible unit. It does have decent email connection, but I guess you expect it from google with gmail. If you want the name sake, I would recommend it, but even then I would suggest see it in person and trying it out before making a commitment, seeing as they will charge you $45 for 'opening' the box, which isn't even sealed to begin with. I certainly think twice before purchasing anything from HTC again.
Description:The industrial designers and engineers reached deep to come up with a design that would fully take advantage of all the latest advances that the Android platform has to offer. The Nexus One is sleek, light, and extremely thin without sacrificing on power or the vivid visual experience brought forth by the phone's display. The Nexus One features active noise suppression by Audience, a large high resolution 3.7-inch AMOLED display for a truly vivid visual experience, as well as a 1GHz Snapdragon processor for super fast response. It runs Android 2.1 with key enhancements such as the car dock mode to optimize the Google Maps Navigation experience while driving and the clock mode to offer a practical desk clock with quick access to the alarm clock, music player and multimedia gallery.
