The good: The HTC Sensation 4G boasts a sleek, high-quality design with a gorgeous 4.3-inch qHD display. The Android smartphone also features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 8-megapixel camera, and the HTC Sense user interface brings some thoughtful and useful new features.
The bad: The smartphone doesn't offer much internal memory, and the phone's speakers are pretty weak.

Great phone, terrible carrier, open source problematic
by pc4400 on June 24, 2011
Pros: Fast, sharp, responsive. Awsome camera.

Summary: This phone is really quick, responsive and clear (display, not call quality). Previous phone was iPhone 3G on AT&T, wanted to move to TMobile. T-mobiles coverage is just unacceptable. Wifi calling helps at home, but what about work or at friends? I found the Polaris Office suite to be seriously lacking. It can't even auto save when closing! Clearly, this is a top notch phone, but T-mobile's coverage and some basic Android issues are forcing me to cancel and consider going back to Apple. I'm no apple fanboy AT ALL, but I find Androids current model to be a little unfinished for business purposes (See note below)
Note: Due to Polaris Office (pre-installed) having some missing features, I downloaded a simple notepad app (free) from Android market. After installing, the phone starts randomly making calls while sitting on the desk (untouched). Anyone know how to flash Apple iOS4 into an HTC? hmm.0 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

As Powerful and Refined as a 1970s Muscle Car
by proteus_ed on June 28, 2011
Pros: Large screen, 7 homescreens, very customizable, access to hundreds of Android apps., records HD, sturdy, beautiful, tasteful
Cons: Very buggy & glitchy. 768 RAM isn't sufficient for the memory-intensive Sense 3.0 UI. The phone can't really handle 1080p. Can't record yourself in focus. "Stereo" recording plays back in quiety staccato fashion. Bluetooth doesn't allow for auto accep

Summary: Beautiful phone, but, in spite of stats, Sensation is under-powered, buggy, glitchy and unstable. When I use it, I expect it to glitch. It's not just the bugs, it's that, of the 4gb of onboard memory, HTC's interface takes up 3gbs. It's the inability to video yourself in focus. It's the quiet speaker & the playback sound on recorded videos.
Although it's dual core, Android isn't as efficient w/ power as Apple or Symbian. Adding the Sense overlay only contributes to the sluggishness. Buggly, glitchy, inefficient, unstable. For a pricey, dual core, HD flagship device, it's a disappointment.1 out of 5 users found this user opinion helpful.

Great small phone - the best I've used so far.
by robobobo3000 on June 17, 2011
Pros: Let me give you my background - despite the fact that I am, ahem, not young - I only got a cell contract 1 year ago. That's right, I was a long time hold out. I started with a Blackberry 9700 which had a nice little screen, but wasn't cutting it as a we
Cons: Small
I know you kids think this is a large phone and wonder about it's "bulk" and feel assured when people talk about how it really doesn't feel bulky.
Are you kidding me??? Stop smoking your crack pipes, you whipper snappers...the AT&T 2500 http:/Summary: If you need a phone today, buy this one. It's the best out there and it's nice.

If you can wait - the rumored Nexus S is going to have a 'truly massive screen' (only god knows what they mean by this - that you can use it without magnifying glass? That its only 1/3rd the size of a regular phone?) - but if you are like me and don't want to put a 7" tablet up to your head and call that a phone - but never did like all these tiny phones - because lets face it, panning and zooming is always a chore - bigger screen = better internet experience - then if you can wait, that Google phone sounds promising.1 out of 5 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: I looked at this phone at my local T-Mobile store and it looked awesome.
Cons: Most everything I read about it is GREAT ... HOWEVER, I have seen several articles and YouTube videos talking about and demonstrating this DeathGrip and explaining why it happens (not sure where you've been looking krazytrixxxsta - get your facts straight
