HTC Touch Pro2 price range: $110.99 - $159.99

The good: The HTC Touch Pro2 features a sharp, spacious touch screen and an easy-to-use full QWERTY keyboard. The Windows Mobile smartphone also includes conference call management tools for business users and offers good call quality. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The bad: The smartphone is heavy and bulky. No U.S. 3G support on this version and it's expensive. Onboard memory is low, and we would have liked an upgraded camera.
The bottom line: With a feature set to match its large size, the HTC Touch Pro2 will be a great device for power and business users once it finally hits North America and adds U.S. 3G support.

ScreenJams, Synchronization issues, Battery life short
by khadoo on February 22, 2010
Pros: Lots of features
Cons: Touch screen is not smooth. Frequent jamming of phone. Synchronization is troublesome. When I bought it Verizon could not upload my contacts from previous phone to HTC. Need to have all your contacts in Outlook.
Summary: Go with iPhone if you are okay with AT&T service

This Is THEE BEST Smart Phone I have ever had
by imanym on September 24, 2009
Pros: Video is awesome, speakerphone really works, Qwerty key pad well designed, battery life.
Cons: Omission of a directional pad, stylus non magnetic

Summary: I orginally purchased a HTC Touch Pro. Verizons phone had less program memory and touch flo3d was very slow. A week after I purchased the Pro, the pro 2 was available and had no changes to the mem. I hurried and purchased and returned the pro. Best choice I have made in a long time. This phone is awesome. Lasts 3 days with no charge, video is super clear, speaker phone works (I happen to hate the ear phone). The bets part is the inclusion of the 3.5 mm headphone. I am not really fond of the touch flo 3d application and have used spb mobile shell for years. So I use that (totally subjective). The keyboard is awesome and the youtube video playback is phenominal, and something I did not expect from this phone. The picture is clear as a bell. I am very cheap and have never been fond of the internet on these mobile devices, this is not as good as I want it to be but it is definately worth paying for. I will have this phone for a very long time and I think it may very well replace my laptop when on the move.
Also, I notice that a lot of professional reviews seem to mention the size of the unit. The size is condusive to the phones features, so I do not see that as a problem at all. The size is primarily due to the keyboard and speaker and I absolutely need both. The size is not daunting at all and if the phone is in stock I strongly suggest the buy especially for Verizon folk.

great touch screen
by alpeshshukla on September 12, 2009
Pros: bigger screen, beautiful layout ,little bit faster than touch diamond.
Cons: looses signal and then says on signal available to check the number. Then when you power cycle the phone it is back to normal. So I think it is windows problem rather than phone problem. Cost is too high for this phone . It is over priced.
Summary: It is ok phone but I do not think it is worth the money that sprint is asking for it $350 . I think it should be more priced in the ...

Cool Phone What kind of Price I wonder?
by CliveOwns on July 2, 2009
Pros: Great Size and Display. Great Keyboard. Eager to see how well Touch Flo 3D works on it. I Don't mind that it has a heft to it as having played with the flimsy Iphone and knowing friends that have had problems with its build quality,SOLID as a ROCK.
Cons: Maybe Girls and Men that use an Iphone will not like it as it is too heavy for them. Would love for it to get some of the features that the NEW PRE has on it such as the cards and maybe the Browser as the PRE browser seems to be the BEST of the BEST.

T-Mobile USA just announced yesterday.
by cheinyeanlim on August 1, 2009
Pros: Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, the HTC Touch Pro 2 will come with a 3.6? WVGA tilting touchscreen display, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 3.2-megapixel camera to capture those impromptu shots.
Cons: Too bad when it comes to color choices, the Touch Pro 2 in the US will only come in mocha. There is no word on pricing as at press time.
Summary: This handset is more than ready to take over where the HTC Touch Pro left off, and the US release comes quite late long after the handset was made available ...

SPRINT HTC TOUCH DIAMOND RELEASE NEWS
BOCA RATON FL - 07/12/2009
SOME SPRINT STORES ARE NO LONGER OFFERING CUSTOMERS THE ORIGINAL TOUCH PRO AND TOUCH DIAMOND AS A NEW PHONE OPTION.
(VERIFIED AS OF FRIDAY 07/10/2009)
SALES REPS FROM MY LOCAL SPRINT STORE SAID THESE 2 HTC MODELS ARE NOW OFCIALLY DISCONTINUED TO GET READY FOR 2 NEW MODELS:
THE HTC TOUCH PRO 2 AND
THE HTC TOUCH DIAMOND 2
I WAS TOLD THE RELEASE DATE IN THE SPRINT STORES WOULD BE THE FIRST WEEK IN SEPTEMBER,
BUT I WOULD SUSPECT IT TO BE CLOSER TO 30 DAYS FROM NOW OR AROUND AUGUST 15TH.
(I.E. - THIS WOULD BE 30 DAYS FROM THE 07/10/2009 MODEL DISCONTINUANCE DATE (NOW) OR BASICALLY JUST AFTER THE STANDARD 30 DAY RETURN PERIOD FOR A NEW CELL PHONE PURCHASE EXPIRES)
